The PES 2013 "Rage" Thread

Really enjoying the Become a Legend despite being frustrated time and again by the AI not giving the appropriate pass or cross, teammate stupid "air" tackles that hit nothing but the shadows of the advancing player, insane mind reading abilities of opposition defenders which could intercept, block, tackle like real defenders do unlike my teammates regardless of which team I play in. There's also the issue where a perfect interception of a pass is almost impossible in which the opposition player passes directly infront of you or through you without making an attempt to go for the ball or even touching it with the entire foot but still be able to divert the ball to the path of another oncoming player.. It's so GOD DAMN FRUSTRATING!!! Smashed my keyboard multiple times and I think the arrow keys are not functioning properly anymore.. This is absolutely ridiculous, atrocious refereeing decisions which costed me penalties, good goal scoring opportunities and conceding from silly free kicks that shouldn't be given in the first place.. Yeah and 1 more issue that I think affects all PES 2013 players in any platform which is insanely lucky ricochets and super composed and accurate clearances albeit by GK or outfield players.. Every goal kick or a kick by the keeper seems to find their own player and creates opportunities. My keeper? Long hopeful punts that 8 out of 10 gives the ball to the opposition. How the f*** can the defenders clear a ball under enormous pressure and dangerous circumstances with so much accuracy and composure which finds their teammates almost all the time? This really takes out the realism of the game and should happen with lower frequency or on accordance to the players abilities.. Passing stats and ratings doesn't seem to apply to AI players as almost all of them can be a Xabi Alonso whenever they wish.. Hopefully I have touched some PES players out there who share the same feelings and frustrations as I do but for all I've said, I still love this game.. One of the best PES in terms of gameplay and enjoyability. Cheers!! Sorry for the long post tho..

I recommend you getting a PS3 machine with a nice wireless controller,
IMO PS3 is most ideal for playing footy games. PS3 is just quality, you
are gonna like it.

its even better when you use a 360 pad on the ps3 with a xcm battle cross , so he should buy a 360 or buy a 360 controller for pc

I don't own a PS3 nor an Xbox 360, I play PES on PC and I think Xbox controllers works and compliments PES 2013 the best compared to PS3 controllers as Xbox controller has 2 analogs and an additional D-pad (I'm not sure what you call it) to really control how you play.

Currently I don't need it as I can play fine against AI teams without doing much tinkering with tricks and manual passing. The problem is how can I compete with other people in MLO where they do rainbow flicks at will.

I'm staying in Malaysia which is in South East Asia and I can't seem to find a imitation Xbox controller here. Original Xbox and Microsoft game controllers costs 50$ which I'm not willing to spend.. Probably eBay would do the trick?

On another note, just finished half a season with Liverpool and finished 2nd in the league and won the Champions League being the top scorer in both competitions. They never offered me a new contract?! I single-handedly won them the Champions League and 2nd place league position 5 points behind Chelsea as they were languishing at 8th when I joined them..

Now I have started a new season with a crappy Bundesliga team that I haven't even heard of and has asked my agent to pull the strings on a transfer back to Liverpool, hopefully it pays off.. Messi went to Liverpool btw to replace me and Ronaldo went to M.City. The big players seem to transfer every transfer window regardless of their performance and it's really annoying..

They need to take out that stumble/shirt pull/whatever it's supposed to be really bad. If you get by a defender he just runs behind you (catching you up no matter what his pace rating is) until he gets close enough to make your player stumble and takes the ball off you. How is it not a foul?

Form arrows are annoying as hell as well. Everything is fine for the pre-season matches and then it's time for the really important 2nd leg of the Libertadores qualifier. Oh look my 5 best players all conveniently have the worst possible arrow for this match.

The referees are also so bad it's like they've been programmed to cheat. Some absolutely dire decisions.

First, as for making your player stumbling and and pace rating (COM cheats with stats)catchups, true that, should be a foul, but it is a Soccer sim not real life soccer and its one of the KONAMI's many defects.

Second, regarding Form arrows Fuckyouover thingy, this shit happens
to all PES gamers all around the world and it is happening now, so just
leave it be.

Third, NOT ONLY referees but also COM controlled players, etc, etc have been programmed to CHEAT, its been like that for quite a while...

If you want to play PES 2013, need to tolerate COM cheats scripts at least to some extent of your endurance limit, need to be patient, learn
how to play the game by TRAINNING or getting info reference from this
forum or other resources.

If cant bear the above, FIFA 13 is out there to play, or else you are running out of options for playing soccer sims, cruel reality but not
only for you but for all other souls in the world too...

As for me, still in learning phase struggling to play better as PES 2013 is damn solid.

just spent the last 2 hours playing mlo with my team rating 643 playing against teams or should I say squads of superstars.

how the hell am I supposed to build a team like this without cheating? it's not even close to been fair. it's like san Marino I think a 1-0 defeat is a great result.

Nope.... No... No Way... I Refuse to take this nonsense... I just smashed my friends pad that he borrowed me cause I had smashed my own cause of this game. This game... WOW when one types in "PES2013" on Microsoft word... right click it and under "synonyms" words such as... rubbish, pathetic, garbage, ronaldo, unrealistic, glitches, fake, scrubs, real madrid, barcelona, manchester city... this game is AWFUL!

So I start off by playing this game for the first time in about a month...OKKKKK so they have changed the online thing AGAIN... (God Damit... why didn't they just keep it like it was)...

I'm telling you this right now... If you ask 10 PES loyal supporters to explain the points system... you will get 10 different answers...

First off... I put on similar level opponents... WHY am I playing people with 175 points... how do people even get to that level... BUT WAIT... unlike the other games... people with 175 are generally not good... but NOOOO not in this game... this game is soo bad that you couldn't even tell who's good... I mean one time, I played a guy with 752 points... and wiped the floor with him but struggled against a 175 point player.

Damn this game is awful...

So next up, I found that alot of people are choosing Real Madrid... And Im not surprised as to why... cause ANY ball through the middle.... goes through and I swear to God, I've tried everything... man marking, zonal and even fouled... but this game wants to kill people... cause in real life all you do is hit it forward.

The reason I was brought here was the point of the radar... Now I choose Arsenal all the time... wearing my black and purple away kit... Im playing Man City and Im away... now check this... instead of being my usual black color... THE IDIOTS WHO MADE THIS GAME... made me be the white dots.... HOW BLOODY CONFUSING AND INCONSISTENT IS THIS GAME????

WHY WOULD I BE WHITE DOTS IF MY KITS ARE BLACK... Hell there is NOOO white on the kit I was using. It may not be a big deal to you guys but I have had it with this game, it lacks sense, logic and most of all realism. I'm DONE.... Screw This Game...

I really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really hate how long the passing bar takes to fill up!!!

Unless i play one-touch football, I can never receive a pass and afterwards pass while pressured....

The ammount of balls I loose under pressure, just because the damn bar takes soooooo long to get to a decent ammount is an horror show!

Oh, btw....

I also hate when one of my players is running outside the defender (off the ball), and when I through pass to him, the ball goes in a straight line to the defender.

And yet another....

I hate how lofted through passes always catch my players offside.... it's either a straight pass to the feet of my attacker (instead of the pass going into the space ahead of him), or when the through ball actually goes into the space, 99% of the times my player is offside...

It's not a rage more Etat décevant des affaires, had the full release of PES2013 been demo 1, well I'd have loved it. Unfortunately the full release feels like a super charged version of PES2012, instead of the lovely slick passing of demo 1 players of any calibre drive at you with the ball and on top player AI dribbling is insane and their ability to read your attempts equally so.

Couple this with tackling that is very awkward and slide tackling dreadful, free kicks around the area, as well yellow cards for winning the ball with a slide tackle are all but an inevitability. The free kicks remind me of PES2010, give one away outside the area and its all but guaranteed to be a goal. Not even positioning a man on the line will help such is the precision of these set pieces.

I wanted a challenge but It didn't seem so much to ask to keep the game closer to the demo 1 code.

this is too much really, i play on professional, mind u i'm a pes user since pes 3, i never played it other than top player, but since last year , absolutely i'm loosing my appeal for pes, this year is nothing new, this is not possible , from one attack the opponent scores, and u can't defend it, from the first attack, u are 1-0 down, i hog possession and everything, but i can't seem to score the goal, i always have the possession , i play with barcelona using the formation settings recommended before made for barca, and i keep losing the match 1-0, or 2-0, while having all the possession and making danger on the opponents area, i just can't seem to score the goal, it's like i'm not comfortable when i get to penalty area, the shooting seems very hard to get used to, and u can't place the ball in the corner, the shot always goes directly to the keeper unless ur on an angle of the goal facing right hand post or the left one, the shot goes directly in front of the player in the direction he's heading at,, i never had this feeling with the other pes versions , what the heck is happening????

I know what you have been going through as I had similar experience too.

As for shooting, go to Training----Performance training to practise
shooting, it is well explained there.

This year's shooting system is different from previous PES versions, and
will take some getting used to.

shooting, it is well explained there.

This year's shooting system is different from previous PES versions, and
will take some getting used to.

MLO Quick Matches

My rating is a low 150 which i'm trying to build on but when i play a 'quick match' i get put against 800 rated players even though my settings are set to 'similar levels' anyone else have this problem ?
