Just got Far Cry 4 for £9.60 through XB live. Cheap as chips.

Also got a closed beta code for Tom Clancy's the Division. Downloading now ready for the first day of the beta on the 28th. XBox gets the beta 1 day earlier...

Far Cry 4 is good, just don't expect a huge leap from FC3. Let me know your impressions on The Division.

True on FC4. Still, for the cost, big map with lots of relatively amusing tasks to wash, rinse and repeat as it were.

Beta supposedly starts at 9am UK tomorrow. If it's shite you'll know by 10am. Hopefully you'll hear nothing until about 2pm and that's only as I have to be somewhere for 2:20pm!

May sound weird it's not the usual FPS game Just picked up a per owned copy of don bradman cricket 14 at a bargain a mate of mine told me to get ages ago and now I can see why.
great for any sports nut and the downloadable option files and team content are amazing and so easy to develop you own and share
the team rating systems are clear and OF's are easy to install
oh how I wish the developers at konami could see take this some notes and what is possible when things are made simple

Sounds good- I remember having Brian Lara Cricket 2005 (PC), and EA Sports Cricket 07 (PC). Two very different approaches- the Lara game was much easier (and entertaining) to play, but I also liked the difficulty and challenge of the EA game. I may get the Bradman game at some point, I just don't really play games (apart from chess) on the PC these days.

The last FPS I played properly was Unreal Tournament 2003!

Simple answer is HELL YEAH!

It's a cover based shooter and for once the cover based system is well implemented. I love the feeling of freedom, I was expecting more of a guided experience, but no, you can wander and mooch for stuff. Weapons feel good, if a little underpowered. 5 straight headshots from an M4 to put a grunt down is a little trying. On the upside, modding your weapons is satisfying.

Graphically it's a peach, I only noticed on bit of slowdown in the multiplayer area when there were 6 of us chasing 3 player targets (I got wasted, they were 2 levels higher with better gear!), but in the general area ( effectively story mode) frame rate was very stable. It is a closed beta mind, that probably helped. No player glitching that I saw either.

The setting is great, with some nice areas to get angles and approach enemies from, especially if you're willing to look around.

On the whole this is looking bloody good and I feel a pre-order coming on... Still a couple of days of beta play to go yet though.

TH if you have beta then certainly, having a squad would make it more interesting. That said, lone wolf is still very playable. If your not already on my friends list, just add me.

FIFA 09 (I've been playing it for about a week now- more difficult (fully manual) than the more recent versions- and the CPU AI is more varied).

Very enjoyable. ($4 / for the XBOX 360)

I don't usually have the money to shell out to buy games (economy is going down the drain in this country of mine), so the last game I bought was in February, MGSV: The Phantom Pain for the Xbox 360. I blew out a part of what remained of my minimum wage to pay for it ($200 in local figures - about US$50 -, can you believe it?!).
Because of this, the lack of drive space and the end of market life for the console, it'll also probably be the last Xbox 360 game I'll buy.

On Steam I bought Street Fighter V, which in local currency cost me $100, but I divided the payment in monthly interests so I wouldn't end up as broke as Capcom's netcode. :p
Sure, I could save up for when more content comes, but I'm a diehard SF fan.

It is short, yes. I bought it for a couple of quid on PS3 when it was sale, but it's been on PS+ at some point (PS3 version at least). How much did you pay for it, if you don't mind me asking?

Recently bought Overwatch on PC. Solid as I'm a console player at heart but played a few games on PC and enjoyed them.
