I didnt mind 2008 i thought it was fine, but i play online mostly and it was worst online game ever lol. 2009 is probley fine its just getting bit borin because it feels like iv been playing pretty much same game for 5 years. I want an overhaul or something i dont no lol.

It not just about the whistles. Such a simple thing and they F that up. It proves Sea Bass cant do anything right anymore with this title.

I know what you mean. Its still fun but is so last gen with no real innovation. Sea bass has just lost interest. Hes made his money.

Don't worry, this demo is not the final build. This was confirmed by one of the WENB people who played the final game in Leipzig. He said that the final version is slightly slower in tempo, the shooting is improved, the goalkeepers are improved among a couple of other things regarding the gameplay. No need to worry, even though I'm loving the demo so far, minus the goalkeeping being very poor.

That's a bit harsh but ah well.
I only play Pro Evo with friends, if I do play against the computer, it's only in an exhibition match. So as far as I'm concerned with playing against the computer and it's AI etc...that doesn't really affect me.

What makes you think that this demo was only finished just before the release??. I think they have had this demo waiting for a good couple of months now, they was probably waiting for when the FIFA09 actual game was released. Seems funny that after all the waiting for the demo to be released it was miraculously ready, the day before FIFA09 was due to come out. Seems to much of a coincidence for me. Good strategy if you ask me tho. Trying to prize FIFA fans over to PES.... So they have probably had much longer than 2 weeks to tweak and correct underlying issues (GK fumbles etc).
I know but its not efficent and useful also very difficult to implement..
on Pes 2008 R2+blind side direction was enough to implement..
By the way on youtube I watched a movie of final build.. Lyon v Celtics.. The game really seems more solid.. check it out..

you missunderstood me. My main point was that cos they released the demo 2 weeks befor release it means that they cant improve what we want improving. They have finnished making the final game befor the demo was released so that means anything we want that we dont like from the demo cant be changed cos its too late.

Everything seems to be perfect except the gameplay.
There are new modes, the graphics are tons better, the advertising is brilliant......
but.....
It's the just the gameplay that isn't up there with it.
Players don't feel unique any more and the play is extremely sluggish, plus, "referee's still being as awful" as "Tevez is handsome". All the players are extremely cumbersome and feel like defenders and then i realised (whilst playing with Italy) that Buffon had as much dribbling skill and control as some of the midfielders! (or at least tha's what it felt like). I am a traditional Master League player and even though some people objected to the gameplay in PES2008, i felt the variety in players was sublime! You knew as soon as Castolo picked up the ball or a retarded Libermann, but now they all feel the same!
Hey, i'm still buying PES2009, but i feel they have put way too much work into the new modes instead of making the gameplay what it should be, which is a million miles better than FIFA.
Good luck to PES2009, but it just could've been SOOOOOO much better.

the ball , u can see the flood light reflections on that .. and it got accurate shadows when fifa is nothing but a spere taht doesnt interact with light
graphics : this is waht i call True next gen graphics being working in 3d visualization industry for 20 yars . unlike fifa where the grasses are fake , no DOF ( it not DOF in fifa its bluring ) no antialising only the players face look ok. how can u compare a next gen game with current gen . .haha so funny ..
players : most realistic up to dates on any platform.

I disagree. Bar the players models FIFA is better. And next gen graphics? GTA4 & MGS4 is next gen. PES is still using the same game model ffs.
even pes 08 was next gen on PC whereas fifa 09 is not even NG on pc.
