This thread is flooded with the same question:update failed because is from a different version etc...blah blah blah....so,if i can be of any help...
@ all of you boys and girls with the different version problem:
search for post number #1971 (upper right corner of every post),it's from our co-member Leesaw and it's the best possible guide (for me) on how to install the o.f...only thing missing?You must have a Playstation Network account.Go ahead,create an account,then follow Leesaw's guide step by step and you're done!Many of my friends did this succesfully at their first try,so it should be pretty easy...

I know I am being thick here, but can someone advise me before I do this wrong. If I have never installed an option file before, do I literally just download the Version 2.0 BETA one and install that on my PS3 and it will have all the correct names, kits, transfers etc or do I have to download all the versions to have everything? I just want to make sure I get it right.

and install, overwrite (yes)

Ollie I wish I had asked you about uploading the option files now because I have spent the last 2 nights uploading every single option file and having to overwrite all the kit templates when I could have just uploaded version 1.06 and then V2.0 BETA lol.

Do you happen to know if anyone is working on an update for the transfer between the 18/01 to the end of the transfer window? Also, I don't actually know if this is possible but can you add or change boots on the game because there are 2 empty spaces for boots on my PES and Agbonglahor would look so sick if he had those green nike boots on as would Ronaldo

If thats the case and that version of version 2.0 is everything, why do I need to downloaded 1.06? Its bloody confusing, because all I can see in the initial post is all the updates and then a few links to version 2.0 BETA?

is there any way to change team names or strips because i want to change a team to a team with me and my friends in it as edited players. But when i try to edit ifk goteburg or any other team i cant edit the names.

Is the edit data protected or something?

This is the first time im going to donlowad the OF do I have to download all files?
1.1,1.2,1.3,1.4,1.5,1.6 and then 2.0? or just 2.0?
another thing, do i have to have the 1.20 konami patch?
I think that i just have the 1.10
Today when i inserted the DVD on PS3 It asked to donwload the 1.10 version which I did. (I can play online, if that says anything about versions) but it wasnt 1.20 im sure
Anyone know where to donwload it? i canT find it on google

i got this new problem I donwloaded the first 1.0 copied all files to saved data utily, when i try to start the game it wont open. It is stukck in a balck screen with some stars in the left bottom. help?

Hi,

For you I recommend downloading the following:

Update 7 (V2.0 BETA)

Instructions:
1. Unzip file using Winzip or Winrar
2. Copy 'PS3' folder to your flashdrive
3. Insert flashdrive into PS3. Go to 'Saved Data Utility'. Now click 'USB Device'
4. Copy ALL files from flash drive to PS3

For chants:

1. Copy MUSIC folder to flash drive.
2. Go to music on PS3 and select USB device
3. Copy all chants over
4. Create a playlist entitled KONAMI_PES
5. Add all chants to playlist
6. Enter game, go to edit mode, edit team and cheering stance. You should find your chants here

All teams are copy protected except the Premier League, some Spanish Teams and the teams with letters A-R on their badges in the section called Other B.

u cant edit ifk coz its a licensed team that r on the game originally same as liverpool and scum (ahemm i mean man yoooo haha) u can however edit one of the teams in created teams e.g TEAM A, TEAM B there at bottom of league lists! hope that helps old bean!

what do i have to do now?
delete all the files from 1.0 from the ps3?

the Muff ( the best Option File builder) will do every transfer ( that`s why it is a beta instead of the official V2.0) from the transfer periode. And you can add some boots, but how you do that..... I will look at the internet for you and will give you an answer when i know how it works ( maybe Muff will know??)
