I dont get it, I never got the option to overwrite or not. The game loads up, then the system data loads, then the edit data, but thats when I get the error message. Then I try to load the file from EDIT on the main screen but the same error message appears after 50% and load fails.

Make sure that you got the update by going to SYSTEM SETTINGS, DOWnLOAD. if it says no download available it means you have it. My guess is you dont have it.Most probably you only got the software update.

If this doesn't help then I suggest erasing everything and make a fresh start, it has worked for others.

Hi, thanks a lot for the update, but I couldn't get them to work on my PS3 .
Can someone tell me what's wrong im running 1.10 since I couldn't get it upated to the newest. I copied the edit file from a memory card but it doesn;t work.

You need to be running 1.20 in order to use 1.04. If you don't have 1.20, you'd be better of with 1.03

That would be quality. I don't know much about the OF etc and if you can use bits from others.

1.03 will, 1.04 needs the 1.20 Konami update though

I added him before and then Konami added him to the 1.20 update. He has been in both versions 1.03 and 1.04

hello guys, finally some miracle happened and i am FINALLY able to see all my usb files under the save data utility. I was stupid enough thinking that i already got the konami update. So, i started copying all the files, 1 by 1. But then, the load failed, because i didnt have the konami update, I believe.

Later on, i downloaded the konami update, however, even after downloading it, i still have the same error, Load failed......etc.

Should i re-copy them and over-write the older files? Or should i delete them, and then copy again to the Save Data Utility??

Hi guys can any one help me.

I have downloaded the file and copied all the files on to my ps3, then followed the instructions as per the thread. Bt when i get to the part when i have to load the Edit Option File, it comes up with the following message: " Load failed because data is from a different version. Download content and update data".

the only thing i can think of that might be affecting it is the game update i downloaded today on the 15 of November, which was an update that appeared when i got to the PES screen.

Has this happened to anyone else and is there any one who can help me please!

Muff, can i use your PNGs (only the PNGs, not the OF) for my "Italian OF"?

You can't use PNG's from one file with another file, doesn't work :/ Shame because there would be some amazing option files that way

hey Muff, I hear that your OF is awesome! Is there a chance for you to make one compatible with USA version of the game? Or, what exactly can be used of your file in the usa version?

You should be able to use the PNG's (kits and scans) Edit data won't work though

1 more questions, where do i find the classic players? and why cant i play online with the updated kits from the OF?

Classic players are after the created players in edit mode. And kits don't show up online because it uses the default Konami OF for online play

hey, i cant seem to find the chants when i go to cheering stance. i created a playlist on my ps3 called 'KONAMI PES' and when i go to cheering stance> mp3 library, it says data not found, anyone able to help?

Is the chelsea away kit correct the black one. The match yesterday against WBA they were wearing the yellow with blue writing tops and they were away so which is right. I think the yellow one looks better.

Yeah, it's right. Yellow is the 3rd kit. Black one is used more often

When there's an update to this file will I have to copy over ALL files all over again? Or just the new files?

ok guys have the same problem as the guys abovem but i dont have the option of NOT loading my option file as the game starts, it automatticly loads up and tells me thats is a diffrent version and it cant load up. REALLY dont know what to do.. plz help me

Sorry for the re-post but is it correct that several of the International squads have players named FAKE after installing the option file, is this correct or have I missed something ?

Hi Muff,

Just been reading through the thread and I was wandering if you could clarify something you commented on earlier about classic players and the Master League.

If you are worried about players like Maradona or Pele being in ML, I have purposely not unlocked players like that because I don't want them showing up in ML

I have unlocked the Classic National Teams and would normally start a Master League without classic players because I would not want players like Pele etc. showing in the Master League

Will this affect your edited data ?
Are you suggesting you need to have Classic players included in the Master League for the edited data to be correct ?

If you turn classic players off for your ML, the ones at Bayern and Bremen will still show up

EDIT: Just tested this out. If you have classic players turned off, the players at Bayern and Bremen will still show. They will have messed up shirt numbers though for some reason. If you have classic players turned on, the shirt numbers will not be messed up. Strange people Konami are

Does your OF feature created players indeed ? i'm finally not too sure about plenty of players from my ML team.
(landu ? rajkovic ? carlos chera ?? that chera guy is some 12-13 year old kid in real life so have Konami put him in the game already or is that from an OF ? his stats are amazing at 17)

Note: I might have installed another OF than yours, so that Chera would be from it

thanks Muff, found out after copying the file that Sidney (check spelling) was at Benfica but you forgot to remove Luis Filipe as he was sold n the summer...Edcarlos was loaned out to Corinthians so you could take him out

for everyone having the error message come up when starting the game (load faile, different version)...go to system settings then download in the PES menu. if needed, download the konami update but DO NOT SAVE when it asks after installation (very important, otherwise you'll have to re-copy all the patch files again).

you may need to load system settings after to initiate the option file.

Thanks mate. I will have to give this a try. Do you have to be connected to the internet to do that? Because my ps3 is at Uni on campus and they block internet to ps3 devices.
