Von Option File (V2.04 NOW ONLINE - 2009/10 Season Update)

After you extract the folders put the 'PS3' folder in the Root Drive of your USB and the also the 'MUSIC' folder into the Root Drive of your USB. The important thing to remember is that it should ALL be in CAPITAL letters.

I have some troubles in adding the mp3 to the game.
1) I create a playlist named KONAMI_PES in my Ps3;
2) Then I insert my USB and I put all the chants in the created folder.
3) But, once I try to add chants to the teams (in the pes 09 editing mode) it doesn't find anything!!!

What do I make wrong?

OK tell us step by step what you are doing?

1) The Muff has sent me the option file via email, since our ISP blocks the URLs provided for downloading the OF. He only sent the "PS3" folder, without the chants cuz of the size issue.

2) I got the Konami update

3) I copied the PS3 folder into my flashdrive.

4) I connect my flashdrive to my ps3.


5) I turn on my ps3 console. go to game tab, then save data utility. I access my USB, yet i cant find any folders. Now, when i go to Music, Video, & Photos I can see all the folders there. Yet, when I try to copy from there, it says no title to read or something like that.

I tried different flash drives, but no use

when u go to save data utility go onto the usb icon and press triangle you should see the files then.

U need to make sure u delete the extra space that gets added to the end of KONAMI_PES, u might not notice it but for some reason it adds a space after u've entered KONAMI_PES make sure you delete this or it wont work. ( 2 ) when u put ur usb in and it comes up in save data utility you should press triangle to c the info on the usb.

I just did as you said. and i copied everything from my USB to my PS3 but as the game starts when loading the edit data it says can't load cause data file is fro =m other version

To use Von's 1.04 file you need to have the Konami 1.2 update. If you haven't got the Konami update then use Von's 1.03.

Well mate, you seem to know what you are doing, so the only think I can of is that you might have a 'space' after the folder name 'PS3' or a 'space' after 'SAVEDATA'. Check that, otherwise you will have to ask an 'expert' or something. Have you installed any other OF without any issues?

Great file- many thanks for the hard work.

Only error I have noticed is that when starting a master league, the leagues are wrongly named. The English one contains Italian teams etc.

Just wanted to point that out so the file can be improved.

To use Von's 1.04 file you need to have the Konami 1.2 update. If you haven't got the Konami update then use Von's 1.03.

If you have the Konami 1.2 update then Vons 1.04 should work. The error message suggests that the Konami update isn't installed. Did you go into system settings/download on the ingame menu after the initial update file download?

trust me i ve done that millions of times. all i can see is an option that says "Information". Whereas, when i go to the video/music/photos tabs i can easily access the folders from there

May sound like a stupid suggestion, but several people have missed this...

When in Game/Save Data Utility on the XMB, you can see your USB drive. Press X to display the images/edit data file. Then Triangle on each individual file to copy to your HDD.

I have this very same problem, ive updated to the newest version and installed it (the install option is now greyed out) and it still says that i dont have the correct version when i start the game

any good ideas?

Tell the PS3 to pick it's window...

Did you delete all your old edit/save data before applying the Von file? If not, it's possible that something is causing a conflict. If your not sure, the best option is to delete all edit data & start afresh. pain in the arse i know, but it has worked for some.

If you have 1.20 then if u go to SYSTEM SETTINGS u should see the option DOWNLOAD.
1.Select download to get the konami update.
2.Copy von 1.04 from ur flash drive and start game.(if u already have the update skip step 1)
3.Go to EDIT MODE and load EDIT DATA.
4.Before getting out of EDIT MODE select SAVE DATA.

You should be ok after this.
