I was wondering whether anyone could help me?!?!? I have downloaded the konami 1.40 patch and then downloaded, unzipped & copied the files onto my PS3 but I still keep getting the same message all of the time:

"Load failed because data is from a different version. Download content and update data"

Delete the Edit Data file on your PS3.

Go into the game --> System Settings --> Download

When prompted, down load latest Konami update.

Then all you need to do is copy the 2.03 Edit Data file back onto your PS3 and you should be up and running.

Thanks for the help mate but I've done all that and it Still doesn't work!

The files are definitely on the external disk as, if I go to the Memory Stick in the Music section and press triangle, I can select 'Display All' and view them all there (but in the Saved Data Utility it just reports 'no saved data').

Arggg!

Hi mate I seem to remember I had a similar problem and it did my head in for days then I think I tried deleting the option file off my thumb drive then making a folder called PS3 ( gotta be caps) then in that folder I made another folder called SAVEDATA ( again gotta be caps ) then open Vons folder on the pc until you can see every file, highlight them all ( one click on 1st one hold shift then one click on last one) then copy and paste them into SAVEDATA folder on thumb drive, now they should ( fingers crossed) show up on the USB bit on PS3 ( just a tip for u mate when and if u see them there each file will have that spinning loading symbol next to it and you have to let each one load properley cos if u click try one before they all load then it only copies 99% to PS3 and stalls forever )( oh and sorry if I over explained things like copying and pasting it just saves multi posts incase ure not sure how to do it ) hope this is clear and works for u mate, any other problems please let me know PS there are some new kit PNG's in the thread I made if you want to check them out !!!! happy gaming

I FORGOT TO TELL U AND ALL OTHER GAMERS THAT NOT ALL Portable Hard Drives or USB STiCKS SUPPORT PS3:no::no: !!!!!!

hes right !!! u must download it also in the game at System Settings:D

I can't see a 'Download' option in the System Settings Menu, do I need to connect to the internet for it to come up?

Hey that actually worked!

I managed to access the files but there were hundreds of them, do you really need to copy them all one by one? (it must take ages if you do).

I turned the game on and tried to load the option file but it told me it wouldn't work because they were from another version or something.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the advice but I think my USB stick was okay, I formatted it on the PC then followed the instructions another guy told me to get the files to show up on the PS3.

I'm still having problems though (see above) - grrrrrr!

Hey mate I replied to PM you sent, but forgot to say yes you do have to copy each one individually, ball ache aint it ( considering if I wanna transfer movis from my PC to PS3 wirelessly I can copy over as many as I like in one click of a button) , hope what I said works

aha ok ,,, finaly u got the files in ur ps3 !!
here are the steps u must do now

if u copied the files to ur PS3 , Delete them from your PS3.

Go into the game --> System Settings --> Download

When prompted, download latest Konami update. ((and be sure that u have it by checking ENGLAND NEW T-Shirt))

then ur free to copy the option files to PS3 and then when u enter the game go to edit then load , then overwrite the data , and ur done !:laugh:

When is there going to be a transfer update so that players who were on loan are back at clubs and cannavaro and diego to juventus, kaka and ronaldo real madrid etc ????
