Compatibility between Europe Xbox games and US games

I´m thinking on buy the PES4 in Europe and bring it back to America, but I dont know if it´ll work. Thoughts???

If you have a US console, I don't think the European game will run on it unless the console is chipped. And you'll need a versatile TV that will play 50Hz and 60Hz to be safe.

Having played WE8 with AC Milan, Ajax and Real Madrid for one season under the League (Not ML), I have taken note that it is possible to continue for another season. How many season, I am not sure. My question is whether players will grow old in the League. I know that they do aged under ML but I am not sure whether they will age under a localised league. Appreciate if someone could confirm this.

Yes...all players get older in the league cadburyho (ML)...not quite sure what you mean by a local league?

How good is PES4????

here are some more questions, please answer Zyg or anyone else!!!!

1. What about long passes? For example: In PES3 when you would be on the left side in midfield and you would play a long pass :circle: to the right side of the midfield, the ball would go floating and a opponent would usually intercept the long ball. Are there still "floating" long balls in PES4??? I mean: a beckam-style cross to open play at the other side of the pitch is so sweet!!
2. What about the CPU attacking? Is it any better??? it irritated me when the CPU would finally make a good counter, the striker wouldn't go full speed to the goal. In PES3 he would usually dribble slowly and you were able to catch up. How is it in PES4???
3. VERY IMPORTANT: What about long distance shot's????? In PES3 when you would shoot a ball way outside the box, it got blocked by a defender a lot of times....unfortunately. Is it any different in PES4???? I really hope so.....
4. In training mode it is now (in PES4) explained how to do the 360-spin. What about the ronaldinho-move?????? Is that one also explained in training mode??? I have heard you can execute it by pressing the "fake-shot" fient 3 times in a row. it this true???? I don't hope so, because it's very difficult to do.
5. In Master League mode the CPU would never trade in one of their own players for yours (when you got an offer). Is it now possible to get offers from the CPU were he want's to get your player by offering one of his own????
6. What about editing players faces??? I saw a picture of Drogba an it was so CRAP!!! I heard that there are no longer standard faces to use (in PES3 the where 160 for skin type 1) can anyone tell me more about editing players and their options? pictures please?????

So let's leave the WE8 Impressions thread for impressions for those who are playing the game. And please No questions in there. If you want to ask any questions about gameplay, stats, appearances, Cristiano Ronaldo's hairstyle and all of that funky stuff, use THIS thread and don't pollute the forum with new threads.

Ask your questions in here and anyone with the game will hopefully answer them in here too. I will definitely do my best to answer the questions in this thread. Just keep in mind that PES4 will be very similar to WE8 in many ways.
And when PES4 is released, we'll be able to find out the exact differences and not until then.


can anyone let me know how to set up a round robin on we8? i just got the game the other day, and me and my bredrins were trying to play our konami cup in round robin mode so its like a mini league, but it looks like its been scrapped!! can anyone let me how you can do the round robin leauge like if there is six players wanting to play in a league?

shooting is much better in my opinion, and its alot easier to score with long shots

i have pes4 & its hard to score but gameplay is great- im pleased to see west bromwich albion in there - I also find it hard to find the classics teams on master league transfer as you can only search by nationality & theres 10 pages of brazil.

No you can search by position, name and pretty much every attribute available. Go to sort by wages and most of the best classic players will be at the end.

Good questions Rajeevh!

I got one VERY important question myself, which I haven't read an answer too (otherwise I wouldn't ask it huh ).

Is it possible in WE8/PES4 to create players and put them into CLUB teams, not only in NATIONAL teams like in PES3??? If not, is it possible to edit the nationality of existing players?? (for example when a player becomes a different nationality like Deco did years ago)??

Please someone answer these questions!

Yes they seem to be heaps better.. it seems to be easier to find space around the flanks...

nope it does not explain it.. i believe it is called the body feint which is that case it says it performed by pushing diagonally Up and Left followed by diagonally Up and Right, please someone correct me if i am wrong becuase i want to know how to do it..
