Can anyone tell me how to convert a torrent file to a PPF file so I can put Reefurs patch on WE8LE?? I have the clean ISO file, but can't just drag the torrent file that I've downloaded to PPF Omatic as it isn't a PPF file??

M8 Get with the program, do a google search on Torrents, it is a long story. Did you really think a patch of this size would be about 50kb? HONESTLY!

You need to use a Bit Torrent program to download the patch using the torrent link.
I guess I'm going to have to write a guide on how to use Bit Torrents as well? Great.....

Download Azureus and then open the torrent in it and it should begin the patch download. After you get the patch you will need to use WinRAR to uncompress it - a guide to WinRAR has been posted so use the Search option and you'll find it. Good luck :)

use bitcomet 0.57 instead of azereus for bittorent files and also other files you want to download like sun juns's patch...trust me...it is much much faster...cheers

Nice patch! but problem

I applied the patch and it is very nice, but is there a problem with the option file wich is included? I deleted the files of my memory card using max drive software and then I uncrashed the option file to the emty memory card. In the software of max drive everything seems to be right. I can see the file in the memory card. But when I am opening the memory card without the software, it says NO DATA ?! Also when I am trying to create a new option file (because when I start the game does not find any o.f. (?!) it says something about corrupted data... canot ovewright...

Tell me that I didnt damaged my memory card please!
I dont know what to do... Is the option file (max drive version) responsible for that?

this has happened to me a few times....its not the patch thats caused this, its a bug in the max drive software. although when you load up the max drive disc you see all the saved files on your memory card, i'm afraid that they may be all corrupted because your ps2 is not reading the memory card. the only thing you can do is reformat your memory card through the max drive software. this will delete all your saves but at least your memory card will be saved. i found that this happened when i copied and uncrushed save files at the same time. my advice is to copy first to your memory card and then uncrush the save file. after youve uncrushed the file just delete the crushed one. ive found that this method give you the best chance of keeping your memory card in a healthy state.

if you have downloaded the whole file through a bit torrent client, you will see that you have a few "rar" files. these need to be "un-rar-ed" using winrar. the rar files are just reefurs ppf file in a compressed format. hope this helps.

personally, the gangsta patch is good for kits,stads,boards and pitches but the music is not football related-its rap and hip-hop throughout, and also the screens leave alot to be desired.

the sunjan patch is good for kits,stads,boards and pitches also but the music, icons and screens are mainly unedited.

the reefur patch is the best for kits and overall graphics, his intro is great, his screens and icons are top notch and also the music is good. the only thing that lets it down are a few bugs here and there...eg.in the ajax stadium, the subs dugout is transparent. also reefur hasnt done anything with the pitches which is a shame.

all in all, id go for the reefur patch

has anyone noticed that shooting is complete pants in reefurs version compared to ole's. don't know if the players stats have been altered in ole's or somethin, also i still have the fake call names for all the teams when using reefurs patch. does anyone have any ideas why this would be happening. all in all reefurs is a cracking patch and i am looking forward to version 1.0

Now I don't see any files in the memory card... neither in ps2 nor in the max drive software. How can I format my memory card? In the max drive's software there is not such an option.. Only delete files, copy, crush and uncrush..

there is a format option matey...first load up the ps2 action replay max disk in ya ps2...then select max memory...select my devices....now when you go to choose your primary device, checkout the scrolling text at the bottom of the screen, you will see press "square" to format. when you press square this will format the memory card thats high lighted. hope this clears it up for you.

once formatted your memory card will be as good as new.

also...what version of replay max do you have? you can check on the underside of your disk...around the centre you will see some tiny writing with the version number. i have 3.32. i was asked this by datel themselves when i complained to them that my son had lost all his saved games. all they did was apologise.

C'mon mate don't be silly LOL These people haven't reprogrammed the game FFS they've just changed the way it looks and sounds, Neither of them did any stat editing, you probably just need some more practice LOL

I know it sounds silly but i have since used the sunjun patch and the shooting seems fine, there just seems to be no power in the shots using reefyrs patch, they just seem to float past or over. I,ve got to say that reefurs patch really does look the business with all the menus, music, leagues and balls but i wish the strips were as good as on sunjuns patch. these 2 teams should get together and make a super patch.
