Mass Effect2. A thing of beauty. I do find the combat tedious on occasions though but I'm just being picky and hard to please. Its a brilliant game in terms of character interaction and the writing. Bethesda really should take a leaf out of Bioware's book when making Fallout 4/or whatever they call it.

Killzone3. Still finding my feet with the maps.
Some good games online. However, I'm assuming there's more than the games/maps we were playing - think we only did 2 different games/maps in the end didn't we? Took me a long time to work out what I was meant to be doing and I'd only done the weapons range thing in the intro of the single player campaign so it took a bit of time to get the hang of it. I enjoyed it, even if we didn't do too well - didn't help that we seemed to always be at least 3 men short.

We were actually only doing one map on "Operations". I'm actually quite au fait with that map now and I'm finally getting my kills higher than my deaths now - 119 Total kills to 93 total deaths. Unlocking the Helghast Rifle certainly helped, its bloody deadly.

I was using some sort of assault rifle for the most part but seemed to have the most joy with a shotgun. By the way, is there a Killzone 3 thread on here? Maybe we - i.e. you - should start one? :ninja:

I think you were using one of the standard LMG's chap. I unlocked the Helghan rifle using my upgrade points ... I would write more in response to your post but I have to open a Killzone3 thread :)

BioShock 2. It's great, but can't overhaul the genius of the first. The atmosphere is a lot darker and moody (understandable after 10 years of neglect), so the locale isn't as stunning. Didn't find the story as engaging or shocking as the first, but it still scores highly. Plasmids and weapons are largely the same, but the gene tonics seem to be an improvement. I liked little touches such as my security bots having personal names. The little sister ADAM gathering got repetitive after a while, but I enjoyed the strategy beforehand of placing trap rivets + mini-turrets, waiting for the splicer onslaught.

Multiplayer has/had bags of potential, but the connection issues and lag are a major drawback. Sometimes difficult to find a game, so clearly isn't as popular online as your major war FPS games.

Can't sleep so I've just spent the last few hours blasting through Medal of Honor on hard. Wasn't too difficult, except where you get stuck because of ridiculous AI or constant respawning enemies but it was quite a good story. The amount of times you get shot down in helicopters is ridiculous.

I might be a homo at some point and go for 1000g as it seems quite easy. Im on 710g now and have most the time consuming ones out the way.

Was playing TDU2, until I saw a weird looking Lancia with pink wheels in the 2nd hand garage. As it was free I decided I might as well have it anyway. Turns out it is glitched to fuck download car & once in your garage & driven it fucks up your game so you cannot start races & can only really use free roam. I have no inclination to start again as I had 100% on Ibiza & was well into Hawaii.

So, back to FIFA.

Might pick up Bulletstorm or Killzone3 this weekend though...

I found the demo to be rather mediocre.

Is Crysis any good?

I've just been playing Top Spin 4 demo. It's not bad, considering the previous current-gen tennis games have been crap IMO.

Yeah it's pretty good, graphics are top notch, gameplay is pretty standard in a fps.
