Yakuza 4 - Picked up for £8. Really annoying to try and play when someone else is in the room, distracting you from the subtitles. Other than that, enjoyable so far, not that far in though yet...

Forza 4, still. Last weeks Top Gear DLC was really good, unexpected and free! Loving driving a transit around the tracks! Really looking forward to the Porsche pack due later this month too... new challenges and allegedly around 20 cars.

Rage - How did I miss this? It's akin to Borderlands, but with better driving and NPC animations. Weapons are a little stale, but the enemies are hilarious. I had one guy cornered, after a few near misses I heard him say "fuck this, I'm getting outta here". He took off like a startled rabbit. I shot him in the back for his troubles :smug: Enjoying it so far.

Escape Plan (Vita)

Awesome puzzle game completely controlled by the touch screen and touch pad; great fun and brilliantly stylish.

It is happening again
As well as the usual Skyrim and LBP taking up my time, I've been playing the God of War 2 collection. Impressed with how good the games look - especially Ghost of Sparta, considering they're PSP ports.

Perfect handheld material. Missions are well paced and doable in 10 minutes. Good gunplay too.

Corpse Party

A horror visual novel/adventure game. Great atmosphere chilling music and some genuinely twisted backstory.

Darksiders

Free through PS+, loving this game. I bought it day one when it came out and traded it in after playing for an hour because I thought it was too slow. Looking back I think I was just playing it wrong as it's been awesome so far. Equal parts Zelda, God of War and Lords of Shadow. Brilliant.

Finished Darksiders, man that game was epic as fuck. Can't wait for the sequel in August!!

Now on to Gravity Rush for the Vita.

FIFA 12 - finally got to Division 1, playing as Bayern Munich. Alaba, Tymoschuk and Gustavo in, Lahm over to right-back; Rafinha, Badstuber and Kroos out respectively.

Seem to be having relative success with it, played 2 games of this maiden D1 season: 1 win, 1 loss. Can't complain really.

Downloaded Little Big Planet 2 and Infamous 2 off PSN+; neither of them resonated with me, will probably never play them again.

Dead Island

Went out planning to pick up either Skyrim or Dark Souls, for some reason I picked this up instead. QUite enjoyable so far, playing as a black rapper who specalises in blunt instruments and melee. Nothing quite like beating the crap out of a zombie with your fists!

£10 off PSN, only briefly played it, but the atmosphere and music are amazing.

Dead Island GOTY

Decided to get Dead Island GOTY edition as it was only £15 (comes with DLC etc) and I never got round to playing it. I'm not very far in but I'm doing all the side missions before I even attempt the main missions. I've just reached the life guard station but I've done nearly all the side quests like the get petrol to burn the corpses or find her teddy bear or find the light house etc. I do love playing in the dark late at night with the volume up, makes you jump when the runners sprint up behind you! Nothing beats smashing the shit out of a zombie's face or mowing them down with the car. I really need to look into making my own weapons from blueprints and such as I've only really used normal weapons (Pipes,Bats and other blunt objects as I'm the black rapper guy), I have upgraded a few of them which makes them pretty decent but I want to deal more damage!

The thug zombies really fuck me off, they take like 30 hits of a decent weapon to go down, and apparently they start replacing standard zombies later on :facepalm:
