Re: Borderlands 2 (since this discussion should probably go in here)

I'm playing single player. I pretty much only play single player because I like to go through games at my own pace. Varkids are extremely annoying at higher levels because it's always hard to keep an eye on them to make sure they don't "evolve". When they evolve again, they're fucking tough as hell!

Yeah they're as tough as nails. What level did you stop playing at? The 3 of us now just tip alone each night for a few hours and park up until the next time we're all online. I have to say, it's an exceptional multi player experience.

Completed Bioshock Infinite on 1999 mode and got the Platinum trophy. Initially I considered it inferior to the first Bioshock but my opinion is honestly swaying towards Infinite now.

Next up to play is The Cave. Should be fun if Ron Gilbert's track record is anything to go by.

Must've been around level 30, but to be honest I can't remember.

I'm looking forward to playing The Cave too but Okami HD is where my time will be spent.

I think I've had enough of Fallout 3 for a bit, tried playing it over the past few days but got annoyed/bored after 15/20 minutes each time. I'll probably go back to it in the Summer.

Tiger Woods 14

Bought the last couple of versions but feel this one has more longevity. The Legends of the Majors mode is a really nice feature, more courses on disc this year is good to see (though they obviously still take the piss with DLC content) and online tournaments is done well. It's also nice to play against others online where it's very rare players quit if they're losing/playing badly, unlike other games. Haven't even started on career mode yet.

Relaxing and rewarding game, which makes a refreshing change from other titles.

I'm a big fan of the series. You are spot on about the DLC, criminal.
I always hammer them for a couple of weeks Tiger Woods games but then never play them again. Have they removed the overbearing caddie in 14?

Yeah, caddie was only in 12. You can ask for tips in pracitice rounds but for all the major modes, you're on your own. I'm gradually turning off the different aids like putt preview, swing meter, ball spin after shot. Feels more satisfying when you hit a good shot.

I did lose interest with the past games but with the Legends mode, career and online tournaments I expect to be playing this one a lot longer.

Finally giving Sleeping Dogs a whirl and..it's rather awesome. Some things are repetitive but passable, such as hacking security cameras everywhere. Never thought driving on the left side of the road would feel so weird though. I recognise one of the radio DJ voices but can't place my finger on who it is. Some cunt from Radio 1 no doubt.

Karaoke ftw.

Yeah, it's a good game. Combat is always entertaining, especially when you get all the moves. Soundtrack is pretty good too, some nice songs on the radio.

What's your favourite karaoke song?

Been playing GTA IV on the PC and Ballad of Gay Tony on the PS3. Not doing the missions, just fucking about online in Freemode. Getting in the mood for 2013s game of the year. No, not the last of us

Bioshock 2

I didn't like the first one I played like half an hour and gave up) but I am loving this atm so maybe i'll give it another go at some point!

Big Sisters are terrifying and i've had my arse handed to me by them on several occasions but combat is glorious ingame and the story is intriguing. Haven't enjoyed a first person game this much since Half Life 2.

Darksiders 2

Played the first few hours when I owned it on the Wii U, but enjoying it infinitely more with a standard pad. Great fast paced combat, looks pretty and with a good OST.
