my personal favourite was 6. Spent hours on it, failed few tests bcause of it.

I voted 5 because you could win freekicks just by standing there & freekicks were guaranteed goals.

It's obvious that the game has gotten better by the year, but I voted for no 3, just because it was the first installment that was released on PC and therefore the first one that I really had a chance to get into.

Pro Evo 4. I still play it to this day. It's a pain to keep updating, but the gameplay was fantastic.

Pro evo 4 was the best
and it was a bit special for me because i bought mine in spain so i had a different cover from everyone else (ironically i can't remember what the cover was )

I can't remember the others much now, I seem to just adapt to each game although I do remember being shockingly good at 4. Mainly due to the fact I played it way too much.

PES3 is the best game to date. Each year since then with the exception of maybe PES5 has been a huge disappointment.

I found 4 to be incredible and the most addictive to play.

I voted PES6, but PES4 was close. PES6 had the best gameplay, which overrules everything else, but the kit editing on PES4 was great. I liked the official adidas kit templates, which already had the adidas logo on them.

PES3 I played the most, also it's the game I have most memories from. I just loved it in general, so I voted for PES3.

Pro evo 2 was fantastic and probably the best experience, but talking about sheer fun, enjoyment, frustration and joy, then that must had been PES 5, so I voted that. I also think that version featured the best and most accurate player response to the controls. Wasn't easy to master, but it really added to the game when you could dribble past a couple of players with just the Dpad. I don't recall any previous (or successive) versions in which you could do that and it felt so natural YET it could not be blatantly exploited... as in 2008.

4 or 5. me and my mate had/pretty much still do have the biggest rivallry over pes and 4 was MY game, totally owned! on 5 he was a bit better than me, but we had so many epic matches!!
