Anyone play World Snooker Championsship 2007? I want to know If I should buy it for online or 2P purposes...

I can only suggest you get it if you're a real snooker/pool enthusiast, and if you can get it anywhere on the cheap (i.e. £30 maximum).

I used to have the first World Championship Snooker on PS2, and while it didn't get that high a rating score (6 or 7 I think), I thoroughly enjoyed it and wasted many hours on it. 2007 edition got 7.7 on IGN, the score mainly hindered by pretty poor graphics (by current next-gen standard) and poor commentary (which is often made great by this anyway).

There aren't any online achievements and on Live, the frames can be very slow paced so you can't just hope for a quick session online..but basically the only purpose of online or 2 player would be to get away from the usual AI.

I don't own the game or owt, just saying what I've heard from others (both online and in person), so can't really delve any deeper into what online's like.

World Snooker Championship is alright. It's not the best game as the colors are not too good. The single player is pretty good, not really been on the 2p mode or on live.

I will post some pictures of my Forza 2 cars, I was racing the other day and hit the wall and spun the car 14 times, and took some pictures at the end.

Correct. I mean sometimes the odd pop up occurs or the odd glitchy shuffle. Of course I expect it from a game of this size and as I say graphics don't bother me but if somebody is going to tell a blatant fib then I will argue the toss. I loved Oblivion, the game was great but graphics don't make games, gameplay does.

Sometimes I'd just wander off and let myself get eaten by vicious animals in the mountains because I was enjoying the scenery. Or let a zombie do the work for me.

I do agree there are some pop-ups, but on a HDTV it looks excellent. But as you say it doesn't really matter, Tetris is one of the most addictive games around and looks shite.

I can't wait for the Darkness to come out. Reading loads of previews of it(now reviews) and this game sounds total class.I like the look of Jackie, mainly because of his Mafia links, but also because he looks Kick-Ass.

the darkness was released today where I live(warrington) it's a great game decent story good gameplay and lot's of blood and gore. multiplayer is fast paced but lacking blood effects but you hardly notice that in shapeshifter deathmatch lot's of fun.

Wait Here, Gone for Help
My nephew got hold of it and scrathed it really badly. Had to spray polish on the disc and leave it in the freezer for 4 hours. Then clean it all off and it may repair the scratch. Its only good to do as a last resort though
