Nope, its a common error. During online matches I've had players run away from the ball and I've conceded goals from it. Its at its worst when you can't select the nearest to the ball after your keep has parried a shot. Soft goals to give away.

I've done quite a few times by mistake. I tap the shoot button as the ball is about to land and my player scoops the ball over the on rushing keeper. Tends to be decent strikers that can dig those shots out though. Jelen is one of them.

There's a Brazillian League Option File for UK region PES2011 on this very site. Try that you'll have access to the players in ML without having to copy base or move them yourself.

Aye, also make sure you are passing to someone is space who can drag players away. If you're going to pass to a forward ideally he needs a good body balance to hold the ball up. If not, play wide. Quick triangular passing opens up AI and human players everytime.

Also, don't hold onto the R1 sprint button too much, thats a bad habit you can pick up when playing on lower levels.

To player at a higher difficulty you have to be able to react quicker, play quicker and vary your playing style so the AI finds it hard to predict what you'll do.

What doesn't help is the speed that the ball travels when cleared. I've seen player punt a ball up pitch to clear it but not at the speed we see on PES. It must be the ball physics.

My other pet hate is when a pass hits the heels of a player when receiving a pass. Its laughably annoying.
