I usually hold down pass before I receive the pass but it doesn't always work. I also tend to hold L2 when receiving a pass as well as this helps shield the ball against shoulder rough challenges before you can pass the ball.

I'm feeling quite annoyed with the passing system, initially I was impressed but you can't play one touch passing a la Spain. I want to tap the pass button to play quick one touch passing but its not an option on PES2011.

Yep, pause the game during the penalty and change to Vertical view. I don't know if you can practise as a keeper, I've not tried it. It doesn't seem likely as you can't control a keeper on the fixed cursor.

I can help with the first one, push up or down with the analogue stick (if viewing horizontally - the normal side on view) to go left or right whilst pressing the shoot button to dive with your goalkeeper.

I actually keep it on, even when I time brilliant slide tackles with own players I still give away ridiculous fouls. Konami have decided the trailing leg should catch the player first and not the sliding leg, so for me it doesn't matter having the sliding tackle for CPU on. I'm still going to...
