Sorry geezer but the move to next gen has been a debacle. PES2009 and PES2010 were simply dross for me. The graphics were average and it was far too easy at Top Player. PES2011 is a much improved product but PES2012 will surely be the defining PES next gen game its taken years to arrive at...

I think the whole move to next gen has really been a nail in Konami's coffin. You expect flaws with PES, its a given and a shame but I'm sure there's a golden PES round the corner though.

There's alot of issues Konami will be addressing for PES2012 ... and alot they will create trying to resolve them. The speed issue is bit of a toughie though, you need a system players can use raw pace to beat players but not to the point where you can run the length of the pitch at light speed.

That and whats the point of using fake players anyway? You sound a footballing purist like myself Hunter. I hate buying fake players or using fake teams. Meh.

I use the random team option regardless of whether I get a shit team like China. I think I must be the only hardcore PES player prepared to do that. My mate does the same when he plays me, we've had some epic encounters with some seriously shite teams.

Your best bet is to delete your Save game data (the downloaded data - not the edit files) and reinstall the game and then download the patch again.

Wrong forum indeedy, can we get this moved? In response to the query ... I'd say (and I'm not 100% sure) the 'Wrong version' message is due to the games region code not being compatible with the version of the game the option file was made on.
