just play in the master league. Konami scripts the game so its almost impossible to beat certain teams at certain times during the league. It took me 16 times to beat man city with bolton in ML first season. I had easily beat all the other teams and i was sitting in first place of the table...

we are playing pes 2010...they have real currency values now. I play on pc and as far as I am aware of all platforms have this feature.

its completely random. Sometimes they are unsigned for their first few years as well. So you might want to keep a look out to scout players who are new to master league or unsigned every start of the season so you can snatch them up without paying another club a transfer fee.
