FM 2005 is quite dissapointing. Its too easy! I started a game with Manchester United first few games:

man u 3-0 arsenal
manu 8-0 portsmouth
man u 7-1 bolton

The list goes on. I then decided it was too easy and then managed Southend United. In my pre-season friendlies i beat Norwich 2-1 and drew against Chelsea Reserves 1-1 (chelsea have got sum good reserves too!)

I know it sounds stupid but i wish FM was harder. Everyone at the SI Games forum thinks so too.

I'm thinking they'll release a patch to make it harder for the veteran cm/fm players, they probably they made it easier on purpose to appearl to the wider market

Try doing a game with MK Dons and fake players ;)

Right, just downloaded the demo, and can someone tell me how to do a quick search as i havent got a clue.
If you're searching by player name go to the top right where you'll see a magnifying glass, click in the white box and type. If you're wanting to do a filtered search then go to your team name under the manager title, then on the left you'll find search, then go to players and put in your conditions.

Cheers, I've got it.

50!

115 and Counting...
Right this is my fixture list in FM2005, I'm Rangers just to let you know....

Aberdeen - Scottish Cup - Wed 20.04.2005
Motherwell - League - Sat 23.04.2005
Livingston - League - Mon 25.04.2005
Dundee - League - Tue 26.04.2005
Sevilla - UEFA Cup SF - Thur 28.04.2005
Celtic - League - Sun 01.05.2004
Sevilla - UEFA Cup SF - Thur 05.05.2004

If you exclude the first and last fixtures in that list, I have 5 games in 9 days, with the last two being very important as you see, as well as that, I have at least 4 people missing from my first team. I think If they want to make the game as life-like as possible, they have made a mistake here as surely this problem would never arise in real life.

remember Arsenal last year?

Saturday Monday Tuesday league fixtures does look a bit funny though, but there's a bugs forum over at SIGames and that forum is brilliant, every bug that you post gets added to a list if they dont already know about it, and will be fixed in the patch :) Go see

Does anyone know where the editor is for fm2005 because I can't find it anywhere. Do I have to download it or does it come with the game?
Thanks
Mike

Yes, its there in the Sports Interactive folder - although it takes a million years to load for me.

I noticed that when you install the game it creates a SI folder in 'My Documents' as well so I don't suppose you were looking in there by any chance.

You're an absolute legend paul b. Thank you very much :D . I thought it would be in the sega folder with the game. It would have taken me ages to work out that it was in the sports interactve folder because I have other games in there and wouldn't have thought about fm2005 being in there (since I thought it was only in one folder). Thanks again :D

I know that there's no pictures for premiership teams but there is for most players in other english divisions and most spanish/italian teams. I don't know which leagues fm2005 has the licenses for showing pictures for, overall, but know that most players from championship to conference, inclusive, have pictures.
