I can't understand it. Do EA think that their engine works and is able to challenge in 2007? Okay, suppose so, why also their is no any improvement in graphics and faces ?

FIFA 360, not for me, still aimed at FIFA fans so still has similar gameplay, regardless of the new engine. Therefore I will remain a loyal PES player.

Have to say I'm kind off excited that there will be 2 decent footy titles out for the 360 this year, that's the big picture for me, none of this Konami/FIFAfanboy stuff...people who do that are depriving themselves of a potential experience:no:

You're right. Fanboys who just automatically make stupid assumptions are what make this title battle somewhat of a joke.

That vid looks good... and much different from the previous fifas. maybe they're on to something.

i say what's the point of spending over £60 on two games when pro evo comes out that's the only game ill play cos i played fifa 07 today and the passing and the shooting you have to direct it e.g. if your'e 1 on 1 with the goal keeper and you press the shoot button it will just go straight to him, same as the pass

No way.

if your playing on any other format your argument carries no weight because the 360 is a completely different gameplay and ball physics engine.

Your not in a position to say what the gameplay is like unless your a tester!!

Even still... Whats so bad about having to direct your passes and shots? He's made it sound like you have to have more skill to play FIFA than PES.

I played the PC version. Fifa requires no skills at all, like all Fifas, it needs speed in pressing the buttons. This is just you need to play it. In other words, it doesn't reflect anything about football. It needs a robot and not a human.

The current gen and PC versions were always going to be very similar to the previous games... next-gen is where PES's real compitition will/might be.

Downloaded the patch yesterday.

Kinda of disappointed with it, nothing extradordinary. I thought they have changed the game engine but it plays like Fifa006. Hopefully, they will come up with something better next year. The gameplay between WE/PES and Fifa is getting really further apart. It really pains me to see Fifa lagging behind cos they were once my favourite. FIFA might be trying their best to catch up but their effort is just not good enough. FIFA needs a drastic change. They have everything save for the gameplay. The way how a goal is scored in Fifa looks so mechanical. After a while, it gets really boring.Fifa should wake up now and listen to suggestions. If WE/PES is not around, people will still be buying Fifa and enjoying it despite of its shortcoming as there is nothing to compare to. But now, the situation is different and the difference between both games in term of enjoyment is really obvious.
