PES6 'radically different' from WE10

despite disputes on whether xbox 360s(even with the external HD-DVD, the whole bundle is still cheaper than the ps3, lol) or ps3 is better, ultimately, i hope konami satisfy fans as a whole and come out with fab pes for both consoles.. and judging from the video we've seen, i don't find any major differences between we10 and pes6..

Despite who prefers what console, they both should be able to handle the new PES/WE

The only thing I'm afraid of is what if Konami creates a "double standard" ie. giving a the PS3 more content and quality even though both consoles can handle the the game equally

I've seen this happen before, if any of you are familiar with Ice hockey and Kush games (NHL 2K series), they did this for NHL 2K5 and 2K6 for Xbox vs PS2 ---> the xbox version had 3D crowds and smoother graphics and customizable music when the PS2 didn't even though the PS2 was capable of handling it as well (proof of this was when Gretzky hockey had 3D crowds and very smooth gameplay)

I would've thought that was obvious by now. :erm:

The Xbox has always been more powerful (graphically) compared to the PS2.

I think that overall the PS3 version will be better. I say this as a 360 owner and becuase Konami surely will make extra use of the PS3's Blue-Ray capacity. Surely Konami would make use of almost an extra 18-19gb of storage??

I also rememeber reading somewhere ages ago in a magazine that Konami may also be forced to release PES on 360 as a 2 disk edition. 1 disk with PES standard features. ie single play, tourney's, cups etc, and the other dedicated to Master League. There may be a ring of truth to this as PS3's Blue-Ray will be able to handle the whole game on a single disk, and also with Microsoft stating that the add-on HD-DVD will be purely for movie playback, so PES on 360 will use standard DVD's.

Only time will tell, but it will be interesting to see how the 2 consoles will actually differ from each other.

I think final fantasy XI comes in 2 discs also, that game is so huge, you need the ps2 hard drive to play it.

wrong on both. blu ray will not be used on ps3 straight away it will be introduced gradually, and the hd-dvd will be used for games as it will force a better graphic quality + blu-ray enabled.

there will be no difference between the two, just because sony held the ps3 back ppl are thinkin well it must be better. bollloks just another brainwashin thing. i would advise that you read before u make a purley thought statement.

Oblivion for the 360 does not even use the whole disc and its a huge game no 360 game will be on 2 discs.

I can see a Halo 3 or GTA series game being 2 discs. I have a feeling anything with two discs will be divided between single player content and online content. Makes the most sense.

Sorry mate, but Hideo Kojima & Team have already announced that "MGS4" will be on Blu-Ray, as well as I believe the game "Assassins Creed" by Activision. MGS4 is also slated as a launch title - so this doesn't sound gradual to me.

We may not see Blu-Ray movies until 2007, but you can bet your ass that PS3 will support gaming on Blu-Ray (for most of it's major titles anyway) from the off.

i have no problem with the dribbling on WE10, what annoys me is how the AI would throw the bal around for 10 mins when theyre holding a lead
