In that game where I scored 4, that bicycle kick from the throw was my second, so I got the accomplishment, but it crashed when I got back to the dressing room, and didn't save. That's twice I've had that achievement and it's been robbed from me.
It didn't go great last night but to be fair we played some very good teams. One observation - Sweey you need to try and hold the line a bit more. Several times I wanted to pass/cross to you but couldn't as you were just ahead of play.
I'm wondering if its worth trying 4-2-3-1 as a happy medium where Original? can play in a deep left-sided role, I can still be a central playmaker of sorts and Barn can be a lone striker with supporting runners. Might keep me onside too! I'll just need to sit back a tad more than 4-3-1-2.
The problem is that I think - and I'm not being big headed here, just my perspective of things - my VP might be the best crosser on the team. Original and Sweey, I don't know how many crossing accomplishments you have (I think I have all of them), but perhaps you could try and work on them a bit offline. I'm going to try and get my balance up so maybe I'll shrug people off better.
As I've always said if you want to improve your headers, or anything else, just play a 20 minute game against Drogheda or Accrington Stanley and go wild.
We can make one offline Original? - we can always take the LF and ST from 4-3-2-1, take the CF from 4-3-1-2 and then do something with the right (the three man midfield with the right midfielder advanced or leave the right alone and I'll have to move out there occasionally). I'm not someone who believes a formation must be symmetrical.
We can't share the formation though, so whoever makes it has to be the first one in the room.
I agree, symmetry isn't necessary. Not being able to share the formation might be a stumbling block.

The there would be that much space between the midfield, I only used separate lines to indicate that the position weren't level with each other.
I've also been thinking of us having a custom formation, with everyone saving it. I think the one Original? suggested would work well. Use the 4-3-2-1 formation, move the RF inwards to CF and move the RCM forward a bit and change his role to either RM or RAM. Or:
---------------GK---------------
-----------RCB----LCB----------
RWB-------------------------LWB
----------RDM-----LDM----------
---------------------------------
---RF---------CF----------LF----
--------------ST-----------------
I used this on FIFA09 in a PESManiacs league as Hoffenheim and it proved very successful, with me conceding very little, but scoring tonnes. Berry can corroborate this. Maybe have full-backs rather than wing-backs, though.
It'll work if the midfield doesn't go walkabout. Not blaming anyone in particular for that, but I just know both midfielders will move forward leaving us fucked at the back.
