No, you can skip versions of the official software updates as they hold all previous update like you can skip PS3 Firmware updates ie 2.40 to 2.42. This is in case someone buys the game in January for example.

I downloaded version 2 gonna wait til you add more stuff.
Just wondered what your plans are for the blank teams if any? I would like a file eventually that fills these teams with something relevant. German teams would be good but maybe a mix of teams would be good. Some more German, Portugese, SPL, other european teams etc
Also i noticed in my version Bosingwa was still number 16 for chelsea when he is actually 17. Maybe this has been changed though....

Yeah, it will be unfortunately. It's because whatever file you were using before had the kit PNG's saved into a different place to mine
Bischoff will be in the update, no Sao Paolo though 'cause of the whole no League B thing
A lot unlocked players will be in the update although they're mainly players that are still active aka all the Bundesliga ones, english, brazilian etc, not so many of the classic players I 'cause I don't want them showing up in ML etc and some others may not either so I leave that down to the user

As for the new teams, like I've said before, I won't be adding any other team unless/until Konami allow League B to be used in ML/BAL
I am new to the site and need some help. I already installed an OF from another site that didnt have the EPL and no chants. Do I need to delete all these files first to get this new one to install? I have tried everything but to no avail. Please could someone give an explanation to a clueless fella cos its driving me nuts.

The Muff, thanks for the advice. I have deleted everything, created a ps3/export/psv pathway. I also downloaded the Winrar program and the completed OF now shows as a lot music and picture files on my PC. I transferred the pathway to a USB stick and it keeps showing on my PS3 as there is no file on it. I have rebooted and all with no success. I have been up all night. Please help. I dont know what to do anymore.

Muffman will have his next option file a few days after the next Konami Patch 1.20 comes out so I guess then Muffman we'll wait for PES 2010, hahahaha, I'm so funny!

No mate not yet, they were supposed to have released their update on the 5th of November 2008 BST, on the Planet Earth of the Milky Way Galaxy. But for the second time they have delayed it! It wil be released on the 10th, APPARENTLY! I don't know if the Konami peeps are sitting on their desks playing with themselves trying to figure out who is better than each other at shooting using the Messi solution! OR WHAT! :realmad:

And a version of my file, compatible with Konami's patch, will be out a few hours after the Konami patch
You don't need to create a pathway, it's already sorted. Just drag the folder entitled 'PS3' straight onto your flash drive
Problems putting the option file on ps3
Hi, i've read through the majority of the thread but not come across the answer to my problem;
I've downloaded the option file and extracted the files using BitZipper and placed them on a USB stick - once plugged into my ps3, I can access the chants under the music option but when I try to access and copy the edit data and kit files under 'saved game utility' it says my USB stick is blank??
I've tried deleting the file and downloading it again but no joy - any ideas?
