The whole slow defenders catching up thing is no problem now for me cos I play on +2. On +2 you get way better player individuality, better ball physics and its true to what pes is. +2 is fast paced like real life and contrary to popular belief you get time and space on the ball.

The people who play on minus numbers absolutely amaze me. I don't understand atall how you can find that enjoyable. +2 just makes everything so much funner and way more realistic.

On 0 ribery runs very (unrealistically) slow. On +2 he runs full pelt just like the real ribery. Just one of countless things I've noticed are better on the +2 setting.

Try it for a few games

Wow really? You think so? I will have to try it :)

As you have the 360 version, could you confirm if in edit mode it allows you to import from memory stick? It'll be a bit pointless allowing custom backgrounds in stadium mode if you can't on 360. You can hardly take a small tv with the 360 and Live camera on the road to capture backgrounds!

I've not tried it yet but knowing Microsoft's strict regulations on file transferring I can honestly say I really don't expect this to be the case. Quite like with option files on the Xbox 360, it's going to be tricky to insert and you'll probably need an extra device in order to do so (Xport etc).

What's the dribbling like? I remember finding that, unless you're Messi or of that ilk, turning 90 degrees looked like an arduous task for the player. E.g. if you're facing right and you press up, the player would take an age to turn.

I really enjoy the new dribbling system to be honest. It's definitely a marked improvement on the old system and the turning seems to be a lot more responsive now. I'm the South American team Cruzeiro for my Copa competition and at one point my striker turned wonderfully with his foot on top of the ball and fooled the two defenders closing him down, unfortunately I think I struck the ball wide. Turning can be slow at times, but overall on the whole it has improved and it's now possible to make nice turns with "average" players too thankfully.

Thanks for taking the time. Got a simple one for ya: Are you enjoying it? Is it fun?

Thanks for the question man.

Yeah, I have to say I really am enjoying it. There is still some flaws to be ironed out such as the crossing on the barline bug and the penalty system is very erratic. Overall though the gameplay is a step up from PES 2010 and it's certainly more rewarding. You feel a real sense of achievement in scoring a goal because ultimately you're dictating the passes (power and direction) with some assistence from the player's statistics, and then the defensives seem to be harder to break down. Of course it's still early doors but from the 4-5 games I've played, they've all been very low scoring including three 0-0 draws I believe. It gives the sense of satisfaction when you do score now because it's a more difficult task it seems which is a huge positive however there's a negative twist still last past PES titles in that it seems a bit easy to maintain high levels of possession a lot of the time.

I am pleased with the game and the gameplay though, as I say it feels more rewarding and I can genuinely see myself playing this one for a while, maybe even right up until PES 2012 providing Konami have fixed the online system as Master League online looks brilliant if it can be successfully lag-free. I'm really happy with the new formations screen and added tactical elements though which just give you more control over the team - a negative flip side of this though is that Konami have stupidly changed the strategy button from L2/LT (on PES 2010 you held this button and tapped the right triggers to play more defensively or offensively and also pressed the face buttons to implement set tactics) but now the holding of the L2/LT button is gone as the strategy button is now Select/Back. This genuinely makes it impossible to use while playing free-flowingly and there seems to be no way of changing it's configuration which really does annoy me.

Overall though, the gameplay is an improvement and if you enjoy PES you're really going to love this, although it might take some time to adapt to and start cracking goals in - which is a good thing though!

Thanks for this thread

What are spurs like?? I hope they made Bale better. If you can maybe do a spurs v ?? game and tell me how they feel to play. Lennon & Bale on each wing.

What are our rating?

Thanks in advanced.

Spurs seem to be a decent side, the team's graph looks in a similar standing to that of Manchester City, Aston Villa etc so it's probably about right.

I probably won't be playing a Spurs match anytime soon I'm afraid, I just don't have the time. I've only played about 4-5 games myself so far with everything that's been going on.

The ratings are tricky as they change depending on what position you play them so it takes forever to look at them all properly so I'll just do a few:

Bale is rated 83 as a LB, 82 as a LWB and 78 as a LMF.
Defoe is 83 as CF.
Lennon is rated 88 RMF.
Modric is 78 in CMF and AMF.
Huddlestone 77 DMF, 76 CMF.
King 80 CB.
Dawson 86 CB.
Assou Ekotto is 77 LB.
Bentley 72 SMF.
Jenas 78 CMF.
Palacios 78 CMF.
Bassong 75 CB.

Thanks very much :)

Sorry to be a pain:
What City players have preset faces? Or if it's easier, who doesn't? Man City btw.

Also what Rangers players have preset faces? Or if it's easier, who doesn't?

Thanks again.

Although Microsoft seem to be the reason for 360 users having so many restrictions, how come they've allowed 360 FIFA users to import chants/music, and i heard your also allowed to import music into Fight Night on the 360. So its quite obvious Microsoft do allow users to import, just on certain games, which means it then comes down to Konami.

I tend to agree on this point. I love the game fast paced, its much more fun. Slow games feel boring and the players feel like they have sand in their shorts. LOL

Oh shut the fuck up you cunt.

I've not answered anyone's questions regarding BAL yet, simply because I haven't touched the mode yet. I'll answer all BAL related questions when I decide to look into it, I'm pretty sure I've even mentioned several times that I'll look into BAL in the next few days - and I've also mentioned not to repeat questions or you face being ignored and even banned if you're a prick about it. Which you're running the risk of right now. I've been going back through this thread several times to answer those I've not done yet - I don't purposefully miss questions out, I just answer those that are more convenient to do so at the time.

If I can draw the attention back to the game, can you give any information about the Master League? Is it as I have suspected due to the absence of any information about it what so ever, the same as PES2010? Could you detail any differences? I am only interested in the offline/standard Master League, any information would be good.

Hunter I need a few more ratings since the Liverpool squad isn't up to date!
Can you do:

Jovanovic
Meireles
Konchesky
Brad Jones
Poulsen
Aurelio
And Chicarito from Man Utd

Thx again!

In future mate do you think you could say what clubs they are at, or were at previously just so I don't have to search on Wiki and then on PES myself - tar. I'm listing the players here in their primary positions with their best rating, if they also have a good secondary position and rating I'll list it also since you've only asked for a few players and not a fleet. Jovanovic was quite a tricky one as it doesn't seem Standard Liege are on the game so I had to look at Serbia and of course all the player names in the majority of international teams are completely incorrect so it tricked me first time round! Anyway:

Jovanovic (known as Josarolic in the Serbia team) - 81 LMF, 75 AMF, 81 SS.
Meireles - 77 CMF.
Konchesky - 79 LB.
I can't seem to find Brad Jones on the game, even in Australia and their reserves.
Poulsen - 75 DMF.
Fabio Aurelio isn't in the game. Seriously. I've checked Liverpool, Juventus, Brazil and their reserves. :faceplm:
Chicharito - 67 CF.

Can you please check the stadium editor and just create a stadium and see if you can assign it to any team?

I also heard that it's finally possible to change the stadiums for Dutch and French teams, hopefully you can confirm all!

Shrop said:
Can you edit the stadiums for the dutch and French teams this year?

I'll answer the first part tomorrow Jansen if I can. For the second and third question though, you can indeed change the home grounds of Dutch and French teams - the only teams you can't change their home grounds for as those that have licensed stadiums e.g. Ajax have the Amsterdam Arena in the Eredivisie, that sort of thing. :)

Papa

Thank you for reading.
Tell me all the stats of every player in the game.

Now.

Seriously, cheers for the penalty thing and all the stuff you're doing for people. If I had got the game early, I'd definitely be playing it and either keeping it secret or just gloating a bit. Have some rep.

EDIT: Once I've spread it about more.

How do the leagues break down? I know there is the EPL, La Liga, Serie A, Dutch league, Ligue 1, But the other team leagues and the pes league...which ones are the unlicensed teams in? May be a confusing question didnt know how to word it just right sorry trying to prepare for my option file when i FINALLY get the game here in the states

Dragonfly

Waiting....
How do you rate the game out of 10 in the following categories:

Gameplay
Content (if not too early to judge)
Graphics
Sound
Life span (or at least potential, if too early to judge)

EDIT: Oh, I forgot to thank you for answering my question. Thank you.

Thanks man. I don't think I'll be doing any big editing though, it's just such a big task today I think I'll wait for the contributors to make their trademark option files. I'm happy to play the licensed Copa competition for now.

For everyone wondering about online play too as I know there's many who've already asked, I won't quote everyone but I'll just speak on it below:

I've just finished my first Ranked match online (he chose Barcelona - of course!) and despite the ping in the top corner being low on 1 bar and red the match seemed to run alright. There were moments where it became laggy but it never jumped, it looked more like choppy framerates sometimes but not to the point where it was bad. If this is the standard we can expect on a low/poor connection then I think we should be quite happy with a good connection. I can't see it being as free as FIFA online but it's definitely an improvement upon PES 2010 online from what I've experienced so far. I'll be feeding back more over the next few days after more online matches of course and I'll be posting them all in my first post of this thread on page 1 so remember to keep checking back.

I lost the match 2-1 mind, and I don't think I saw where the default speed setting was but it definitely wasn't -1 which is what I play on offline. It seemed really fast, almost ping pong like at times to be honest. If this is what 0 speed setting feels like I can safely say I won't be in a rush to play it offline in my Copa.
