Apparently rumours are, Ezio's sister maybe the main character for this installment..
Intresting. The string of numbers? That's a stand-in for "June 24, 1459," or for you Auditore family historians, Ezio's date of birth. And the Ottoman Tughra? Turns out that's an official seal or signature for a sultan, used to sign official documents and for money printing, among other things. It's like Prince's symbol, basically, except it originates with the Ottoman Empire rather than an egomaniacal musician.
Anyway, between the major landmark (Hagia Sofia) and the Tughra, we're guessing the big reveal will somehow center on Istanbul, potentially in the mid-1400s. As for when we'll find out, your guess is as good as ours -- the meter towards the next teaser is at 20 percent as of now, with no indication of how many unveilings are left in Ubisoft's plan.
Update: The fifth teaser has now gone live, and it features a man who looks suspiciously like Assassin's Creed 1's main character, Altair. It also features a two-headed eagle -- a symbol quite popular in the Byzantine Empire -- and the number string "11011165," which is presumably a placeholder for January 11, 1165. What happened on the eleventh day of January, 1165, you ask? That's a good question. Other than some unexciting interactions with Russia, not much was happening in Constantinople/Istanbul that day. Perhaps the next teaser will clue us in!

When is this meant to be out? I'm still working my way through number 2 so hopefully I can be on Brotherhood by the time it comes out.
Ezio's final installmnt.Ubisoft has just formally lifted the lid on Assassin's Creed: Revelations, after a week of Facebook teasing.
Due on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in November, it's billed as the final chapter in the Ezio trilogy.
The new titles sees the AC2/Brotherhood hero following in the footsteps of his mentor, Altaïr, and heading to Constantinople in the heart of the Ottoman Empire.
A growing army of Templars is apparently threatening to destabilise the region, so clearly some covert sneaking and stabbing is in order.
New gameplay tweaks are also promised, including the ability to manipulate Desmond's memories to help "decipher the mysteries of his past and gain insight into the future."
Alongside the main single player campaign, you can expect a "refined and expanded" multiplayer experience featuring new modes, maps and characters.
"Delivering the final chapter of the Ezio trilogy is an important milestone in the Assassin's Creed franchise for us and for our fans," commented creative director Alexandre Amancio.
"Assassin's Creed Revelations includes lots of new features and some significant surprises. We can't wait to show our fans what we have in store at E3 this year."
I don't think they're trying to milk it. Maybe the trilogy was a plan of theirs. It feels like it will be more of the same, though. I'm also guessing there will be no Leonardo, so I don't know what that says about the gadgets we'll get.
Did anyone finish the Truth tasks on Brotherhood? I couldn't be arsed in the end. The puzzles just seem random, sometimes; and the video didn't look that promising. I might just watch it on YouTube. The Truth video on AC2 was good.
Yup i have.
It's kinda fun man.
http://www.joystiq.com/2011/05/05/assassins-creed-revelations-concludes-ezios-story-this-novemb/Revelations promises answers (right there in the title, guys) within the game's cryptic, multi-generational plot -- spread out between three playable characters: A distinguished Ezio, who ventures to Constantinople amid the rise of the Ottoman Empire; 12th-century assassin Altair; and the descendant who ties them all together, Desmond.
The game is being led by Ubisoft Montreal, "with the support and expertise of Ubisoft studios Annecy, Massive Entertainment, Quebec, Singapore and Bucharest." The massive production will also mark the return of multiplayer (now with more everything), and the introduction of a new climbing hook.
Ah well, i just wanna finish Ezio's story.
