Did I shoot you when I was the helicopter in that last game? You were lying down behind something while I was spraying fire at the enemies then all of a sudden you were dead. I was fucking shocking on the ground and nothing special in the helicopter. I think choosing hardened wasn't a good idea.

I go with the flow, but I usually find myself in the team deathmatches.

What we need is a party leader who can divvy up a variety of games.

If you play Mosh pit it mixes up the games. It changes between FFA, TDM, Sobotage, S&D etc.

I only like team games tbh. Although I've barely played the game, so I wouldn't be much use in the likes of S&D.

The heartbeat sensor means that I'm pretty much relegated to Team Deathmatch games. I would go on hardcore TD but there's no point when everyone else is sleuthing about with an M4 waiting to ruin your day.

I can't really do CTF, S&D or FFA (yet) but I do quite like domination - particularly with my knob on for C4 at the mo. "We're losing B", *click*, awesome.

Aye that guy Teeps is my mate and I wouldn't ever bother doing anything like knives only with him because he has the self control of a 4 year old.

Changed my NAT type to Open, don't think it did much, I'm still shite and the connection was actually worse in some games although that might have been due to the host.

That Sub-Base game I was in was great. Constant action with me killing and getting killed within about 10 seconds of re-spawning.

Badger uses the Barrett and so do I. I got used to it as I chose the Barrett over the Intervention at the start, it's also a better rifle than those you unlock. I am going to give the intervention a go but as a bolt action I think it might be a little slow against people with LMGs spraying bullets all over the shop!

Was the Springfield not a Bolt Action Rifle in World at War? Although a pretty dump game compared to MW, I found that to be the best "sniper" out of all the CoDs?

That was in the first week of the game. It was me and my cousin playing (swapping the control at the end of games) and we were probably coming up against people new to CoD.

Does anyone here use LGMs? At the start of MW I used to use the RPD a lot, but then had enough of it and started to use the Assault Rifles. I've only used a LMG once in MW2.

The Barrett is by far the best rifle in my book. With the bolt actions I always find that when I'm trying to snipe someone from distance, if the first shot doesn't take his eye out then he'll move pretty sharpish. Also the Barrett gives you a midge's testicle of a chance in close combat where it's a semi-auto.

The thermal sight/scope is just as cheap.

I'm fine with folks using whatever they want in the normal TD mode, but in the hardcore modes the heartbeat sensor tells you where people are. With the thermal scope you have to have a bit of nouse about you to stand a chance of taking people down. The amount of times people have just wandered round corners all guns blazing or have sussed me out (without me having fired a shot) gets a bit tiresome after a while. I had a HTD game yesterday where every single killcam of mine involved some bugger with a heartbeat sensor.

Also, it bears mentioning that scrambler is possibly the worst perk I can think of - it gives your position away. The amount of snipers I've seen using it is ridiculous.

My next goal is to get a nuke, not sure what killstreaks would be best though (perhaps nuke?)
