Hunter, past week or so I've found that my Harrier won't last two seconds before getting blown outta the sky...

I've found this too, I remember in the first weeks I'd shoot them down myself but now by the time you've changed classes its already gone. I think they're a bit too easy to shoot down, especially with the Stinger but then again you could argue that they're too good just sitting in the sky and shooting anything that moves.

Aw fuck, equalled my best killstreak (26) in that Wasteland game, had a bit more Chopper Gunner time too and some targets in sight but the score limit was reached.

My new longest killstreak is 7.

I think I was playing at Afghan earlier. The one in the desert. I got 20-9 K/D, and I got the winning kill by using the predator missile.

Having 2 Malaysian guys in my team did help me a lot. They revealed the enemies' position. Usually, I'd get kids from America which is really annoying to hear their voices, or people speaking Chinese.

Haha yeah it was on Wastelands which is possibly the worst map ever created! I had a few TDM with Jin which went ok after a few maps i got into my groove, like to play with some of the others too

I usually follow my team mates. The ones that has higher ranks than me.

Another way is that, after you kill a guy, you move to another place. Sometimes I'd throw a flashbang, just in case that there might be some enemies in the direction you're running to.

Knowing the maps is always good, i keep looking at the radar and seeing where the enemy will spawn and which way they will go around the map. Aye and like Mike was saying move after you kill someone most folk go for revenge in killing you straight away.

I usually get 1 kill more than deaths but i do have shitters on some maps.

Don't listen to Mike, following your team mates will only get you killed. Imagine the enemy has a UAV, and one has a predator or air strike. They gonna aim where there's one person, or three?

If you can get the cold blooded pro perk, use it (I'm working towards it). As someone is always bound to have a thermal scope and will kill you without too much hassle.

Just create a class and stick with it. Earning the pro perks will help you with your K/D ratio; I find an M4 with sleight of hand, stopping power and steady aim will get you a shit load of kills.

When you get to about rank 40, try the TAR; also another good gun.

OR, you could join a game and just observe (not choose your class). Watch the bloke at the top and see how he approaches it. He could have silenced guns and perks, and flank the enemy, or run around with marathon on, kill, and move on to the next.

There's so many ways you can play this game, and without practice you won't get better. Some games you can pick up and be good at, but there'll always be someone better. so don't get too downhearted.

I should have it rented before Xmas, so I can give you some tips when I get on there (although I don't have a headset).

The only reason that I suggested following your teammates is because, earlier, at Airport (or whatever the name is), my opposition always travel in bulk. They won the round easily.

-Stay away from open areas (duh).

-Look for shelter if the enemy has a predator/air strike/chopper.

-If someone's camping and you want revenge, don't approach him the same way you just got killed. Go round the back or from the side.

-When there's no friendlies behind, keep having a glance to your rear. There's nothing more infuriating than being blindsighted from behind.

-Be cautious on corners. A lot of the time there's someone waiting for you to come charging round. By the time you go to aim, you're already dead.

-Reload after most kills unless there's a group you want to take on.

We were shit on the snowy map, what's it called? I think we lost by 500 points on that map.

When you're using a sniper rifle...

- Hit them first time... this isn't always going to happen but it will give you the best chance of survival, especially if they are unaware of their presence.

- If you miss, you can try two more shots if you're using a semi-automatic rifle. Often, you get people who stop dead or drop to the ground if they get shot at... this is an easy kill. If you're using the Intervention it's a bit riskier to take extra shots, it takes longer and provides them a better opportunity to work out your position/shoot you in the face.

- Move, after you've killed someone/tried to shoot someone move! Once someone knows where you are your risk of death is increasing exponentially.

- Don't spend too long looking through your scope... it's a sure fire way to get outflanked/stabbed in the back. When you look through your scope, you have no access to the minimap etc.

- Use stopping power, Infinity Ward obviously haven't seen the size of a .50 calibre bullet, you can hit someone in the chest and you're not guaranteed a kill. With stopping power your less likely to wing them... this is particularly useful if you've been surprised and you have someone running straight at you, machine gun/shotgun at the ready! You might not have time for a shot, you definitely don't have time for two... you want to drop them with your first shot.

- Carry an automatic/semi-automatic shotgun as a secondary weapon, in case you get surprised by some cunt.

My kill/death ratio is nothing to write home about... but this is because I don't follow half of my own advice!

Yesssss. I've got to the point now where if I see any on the floor, I take them and use them aswell. Also I will probably use them when I unlock them :laugh:

They are cunts though. Once they get you in their sights with those, there is no escape.


Also I played a game of Mercenary team deathmatch and shot down 3 harriers and an attack helicopter with my stinger, all within one life

How come I always seem to get killed by the same cock using the n00b tube? Do you unlock a perk that allows you more grenades or something? Fucking ridiculous.

I can understand low-ranks using it, or using it to clear out a room on HQ, but using it over and over again and at point-black range is gay as balls.
