I'd compare it more so to Black Ops, but just with smoother gameplay, and a more free flowing feel.

I've only dabbled on some of the maps so far, but they seem very good.

MW3 is very similar to previous Call of Duty games, but just simply tweaked a bit and improved a little more. Considering how many playing hours we're going to get out of it, the prices of £25-40 are more than justified. Especially when you compare it to a DVD or Blu-ray for £10 or so, which you're likely to watch once or twice (of which is only 2 hours or so long).

I got 41 (in game) hours out of MW2 over 2 years, having spent only £20 on it.

I've spent £25 on this year's edition so am not overly fussed if it's technically a MW2.5. In fact, I'd be happy with that.

Hunter, am I right that your point streaks (counting towards killstreaks etc) DOESN'T reset when you die? Just watched a game on the Machinima feed and he died after unlocking his 8 point streak (Sam Turret), yet upon spawning got a few more kills and got a 12 point streak reward of an Advanced UAV?

I haven't noticed this to be honest brother, but then again, my biggest streak is currently only 7. I've not really had enough time to build up a large array of points - nor have I been paying too much attention to earning 'points'. I'm having enough of a challenge keeping my eyes focused on everything that is happening around me during the game!

I really hope the above isn't the case though. It would suck really, but I don't think IW would be stupid enough to do this as then it removes the point of a 'streak' - even if by using points this year in MW3.

I'm not playing MW3 at the moment as my brother is downloading some games development software, which means my online play would lag. So I'm just watching the old classic How The Grinch Stole Christmas while tucked up with our lovely all black cat Juke. :happy:

It is streak points that are earnt by killing, completing objectives gettings assists etc.

well Im not entirely sure as I've died and lost my streak but once or twice I have kept it.

I know what they are, but I thought that if you died mid-streak that it would restart?

You can select different types of Killstreak ie u can have the Assault killstreak setup or Support Killstreak setup.

Assualt = Usual kills streak ie UAV, Preg , Chopper ext and they reset if you die.
Support = UAV, Counter, Sam Tourets, Advanced UAV ect these do not reset when you die.

I in a match if u get 12 Kills and die 10times u will still get the advanced UAV if running support.

Mine came in the post today from Amazon so i'll play it tonight after the gym.

Level 51. Just unlocked the ACR, with a silencer it's the best gun I've found so far. Obviously the silenced UMP is still awesome too.
