Over at PESfan.com all impressions were positive. But i dont hope this will be an arcade game. However bear in mind that real demo comes out in 3 weeks evnethough it sound stupid to release 2 demos in one month.

because i have played it , you can dribble , 360 degree is there , you can fake shot any defender , the problem is about you , not the game , when ( so many ) fans like the game and you say that you don`t , so there is something wrong happened to you while playing let`s say such as ROBINHO has passed your poor defenders one by another ? or might be the naughty Ibra had a chip shot your goalie and scored a nice goal after passing him easily ? maybe he is the bad boy naymar , i know he could passed all your defenders and had a penalty then scored a wonderful goal ? or it`s all about that you are not a real football player though . chill out and go get your Other game , enjoy it but i won`t .

I'm going to take all these mixed reviews as a positive. If everyone thought the game was shit or everyone thought it was great i'd be suspicious...

I gotta say though most of the opinions i've read on this site and other sites have been pretty upbeat.

Anyone know what time the demo will hit the 360 dashboard??

Listen. I hated the PES 2011 demo, but this game is atleast playable.

It's the unresponsive, awkward and somehow hard to control movements/dribbling and the awful passing which is the problem of this demo.

I´v been playing the demo for two evenings now and I can proudly say that Pes is back!
A fantastic demo! Much better than 2011. Shooting needs improvement and it has some bugs but for a beta demo I´m hopefull.

To the first poster: WTF?

Well, my impression is that it feels more like ice hockey then football.

Players move like they have rockets in their asses, and ball just sticks to players legs like its glued, recieving the ball shouldnt be that easy.

The ball just shouldnt be flying around that fast , come on, i cant see how anyone finds that realistic.

Overall, pes 2011 is a class above so far, hope for a better final version.

to me from looking at those videos, it looks better than PES 11. If you think the passing is easy then why don't you play on manual ball control? such as passing or shooting on manual not CPU assisted?

the game looks realistic but i don't know how realistic the gameplay is? i'm going to download the PC version tomorrow and play in the evening.

What do you mean when you say AI is better? Do you mean AI as when you play against computer or how your own players move?

Also, what does the catch up bag mean which is supposed to be fixed?

Some people can't handle the fact that some people like this demo and vice versa. Seriously everyone is entitled to his opinion.

But, you don't have to fill the forum with negatives only. They need feedback not just slating.

I still like the demo and some people just can't defend from the looks of it. DO NOT DEFEND LIKE IN FIFA (not trying to looks smart, just saying). Jockey with the R2+X, apply AI pressure with the square. Close the spaces with the jockeying defender, and tackle with your defender as soon as the AI player makes the move, because they'll be easy targets.

I however agree that the close control needs to be toned a bit down. Not by much though. I think that it's because the defending is harder (no catch up bug) so we have to master it first.
