I believe he was actually comparing you to the Ancient Greek author and poet, Homer, who wrote the Iliad and the Odyssey. Therefore, I would guess that, when he called you a 'homer', he was actually trying to praise your writing skills and ability to keep an audience interested, by comparing you with one of the greatest writers of all time. How would you prefer to come across?

1) As someone who can explain their thoughts and feelings intelligently, whilst also respecting the views of other people. For example (from 2 seperate sides of the coin), myself and Steve Justice.
