It's useless with all the insults. Some like the game, some don't. Everyone should be happy with his choice. There's no need for insults.
I myself am not extremely happy with pes 12, but at times it does play really well. But as I said, it feels unfinished and the bad side is EXTREMELY ANNOYING. But overall, it has more good than bad for me.
Well said!. Trading insults ain't gonna deter from the fact that most people rate this game very well!. Its pointless trying to defend pes in this thread cause after all it is named "Do not buy pes 2012". Well tough shit i bought it and i like it!. Sure there's annoyances but name a game where there aint any, There is none simple

Oh and if you play camera on long, the game is faster and if you play on long camera and -2, the game somehow plays better than on wide because you feel more in control of your defence. I don't know how this can be possible, maybe it's because you are closer to the action.
Maybe Pes suffers to render at very long ranges. I do not know. But anyway you get the point. Some like it and some don't.
PES 2012 and Fifa 12 are both rubbish games. They either need to merge and use the best parts of both games to make the perfect game for us fans or one of them needs to up their game and finally get rid of the opposition. Both look unlikely to happen though because of money and politics. Don't buy either game. Swapped my PES 2012 for BF3.
no i dont want them to merge because if they did you will get the ultimate rubbish game... i want them both to go bankrupt and the CEOs to die
i was checking some statistics from football games and noticed that almost all the times the team who dominates possession/ high pass completion rate wins... have you ever wondered how many times you control the possession and the midfield in PES and in the end you find yourself losing?
die seabass:duel::jedi:
fifa 12 isn't rubbish if you played it. It is more free than pes as there is freedom in everythins, even player positioning. None are obv perfect but fifa is taking half a step forward whilst konami is taking 1 step forward and 1.5 steps back eventhough for me pes 2012 beats pes 2011 out of the water
Totally agree with you. I'm always in the 60-65% possession stats against the highest difficulty settings and against really really good human players but even though I have more possession, the better chances, the higher number of chances, more corners...it's always the little R1 running noobs who waltz through the midfield and defence and even take on the keeper. Keepers are rubbish. Defending is the worst I have ever seen. To those who say you have to give it time and learn the new jockeying and variations of the R2 defence and closing passing channels...even if you master that you STILL will not have a FAIR chance at defending against any player with dribbling and speed stats in their 90's. Not to mention the numerous deflections, own goals, bad goalkeeping and extremely poor refereeing.
i agree- in a situation two players in my team were trying to blast the ball and they both mis kicked it and the goalkeeper hen tried blasting it out but he fall on the 2 defenders lading to a goal.
Pure wank
lol at u faggots..
i heart this game

This is the point. Surely PES players know this already. The curve is steep, and by steep I mean K2 steep!!
I put in well over two hundred demo games, and have already put it over fifty retail games. I don't think I'm exaggerating that all in all, you'll need a combined total of 100 games across demos and retail to even begin to understand how to play defence properly, it's just true.
Like I always do after long sessions on PES that can last up to a couple of days, I think I can get something better out of the game and want a change of scenary. I boot up FIFA, and start off where I finished after 6 games or so me being top. I'm playing Man Utd. I score with Suarez
inside 7 minutes on World Class with a series a pedestrian right to left, then left to right moves. I win the game one nil. The only threat to me throughout was whether or not my unresponsive defenders would be done by the ultra reflex move of the CPU when the CPU works its way to the corner of the 18 yard box. Their patterns of attack were a constant and there was nothing outside the box in the way they attacked. I then played Everton and won that two-nil. Carroll and Suarez.
In around 30 minutes of those two games I've never been so bored in all my life. I won two games so you'd think I'd be ecstatic, I was just there, sitting, emotionless really. The kids were screaming, people were popping up left, right and centre in front of the tele, but nothing from me. I felt a strange sort of indifference.
Contrast that to PES, when kids screaming, people in front of the tele and generally people breaking my PES Zone where I am almost teetering off the anger management cliff and you get the picture.....
On PES, on TP, every second counts. The concentration levels needed to hold out if you play either 15 minute games or 20 minute games is huge. You have to defend properly at every move that breaks down and know where to position players, sometimes you have to concede ground until support arrives, sometimes you can press high up the pitch.
It has taken me literally dozens of days to get a formation that works well with my style of play and have spent hours tinkering on the tactics board.
Do you know how many hours I spend tinkering on the FIFA tactics board? NONE. I've never changed the tactics once, I don't care who starts for me and who is out, I just play the game and I'm top. The learning curve for me this year must have been about 3 minutes, honestly try this.
If you have both games and you're having a hard time winning on FIFA, just go and play PES for half a day on Top Player. When you get back to playing FIFA you'll find the game much much easier.
*Please note that ALL my opinions are now based on the PC version of PES, I agree that the PS3 version can sometimes just go skitz and feel broken*
