Some of those new celebrations are stupid.

I want away with them in '10 they remove you too much from the atmosphere which is already crap when you score a goal.

I agree. I think both Fifa and PES fail miserably when it comes to goal celebrations and atmosphere. There's a tiny cheer on PES which is pathetic and it's only slightly louder on Fifa.

I think there should be a huge roar, especially if your at home, when you score. And I think if you score away from home the camera should pan to the pocket of away fans going crazy when you score too. It would make the feeling of scoring an away goal special like it is in real life.

It would also be so much more satisfying if it actually sounded like 30 odd thousand fans were going crazy when you scored in the last minute. At the moment it sounds like your playing in a reserve match when you score. It needs sorting.

Definately, I remember on like PES3/4 or 5 when you would score a goal the crowd would go crazy.

I know it's not a huge part of the game but I just think it needs sorting. I mean, u look at the amount of detail in a game like GTA IV and then compare it to the crowd animations in both PES and Fifa and it's pathetic.

We're in 2009 and the crowd animations and sound hasn't really improved in over 10 years. Would it really take that much to make the crowd look and sound more realistic. I really don't think it would!

I remember reading an interview with a FIFA developer. I vaguely remember that in order to have a realistic looking crowd, it would take a lot of space in the Blu-ray/HD-DVD. They can't do that because the space is needed for other stuff.

Yeah, maybe EA could like bring out an update for better-looking crowds? May be quite large file but it'd be on the hard drive and not the disc...

To be honest, I'm not overly concerned with that they look like, a shit 3-D man is enough for me. As long as they make a lot of noise I'll be happy, but it's a shame because the fans roar more loudly at half-time than at full-time.

Good point. it'd be great if we're allowed to put in our own chants, just like PES does, but implemented in a better way, like which chants are going to be played at a certain time-- Man United's We'll never die is usually sung when it's almost full time, or Who the Fuck are Man United being sung after United scored.

Yeah I agree, that'd be a great addition for the Edit Mode. Import .mp3 files if we really want, like if you're a Liverpool fan you want YNWA belted out with 2 minutes to go, 1-0 to The Arsenal, Who are Ya!?

That would be great :lol:

I like your thinking! The "Who R ya, who r ya" chant just after you score would make the atmosphere better and would also really make you want to score if the opposition were singing it to you!

Nope. It's really annoying. I've played a few 10v10 games online and noticed that most people seem to have DNF percentages from 40% upwards. There should be an automatic 3-0 defeat for the quitters plus point deductions on their ratings.

I think I might just play Fifa online against people in my friends list, who I know have the decency not to quit. Really does my head in. I don't get that satisfaction if I'm beating someone 4-0 30 minutes in and he hasn't the respect to play through the end of the game. Cunts.
