This is the first time I've played FUT on the weekend of release - I usually start a couple of months late. Is it normal for players & items to be sold at inflated prices? Payers that would've been 1,000 points or less are going for about 3 time the price.

Some of the prices don't make sense, I sold Reus for 115,000. Who has that kind of cash on day 1? He's also not worth that much, I think it's a hangover from last year when pace was so valuable.

Meanwhile, I had a code for 4 gold packs in with my game, plus another 3 gold and two specials to open as a welcome back.

I now have a full gold team, 7k in coins, and pulled a Joe Hart (I'll probably sell him as he's worth around 12k) from the packs. Not bad considering I've done nothing except open the packs that were waiting for me and releasing the shit ones.

What Sweey said. I can't bring myself to spend cash on virtual players. That's just weird. Pace is still valuable, annoyingly so, although not as much as before. I've been hit on a counter a few times.

I've got Giuseppe Mascara if you want him for your Serie B team. He's a gold player and pretty handy. I started a Career mode with Pescara and he's one of my better players, but is dead by half time.
