I'm trying to decide whether to wait and get this for the 360 or just get it for the PC just now.
Will probably get it for the 360. Apparently you can do XBox -> PC tournaments anwyay.

Ok am using the black in-2 skin but I can't seem to see the option "set to" a position when doing my tactics anymore.
Originally I could for example set K.Toure to Central Defender and his mentality and actions would be set automatically but now I have to gamble from what I remember.

Im RC Lens now, Ive had my opening 3 games, won 1, lost 2.
I beat Lyon 4-3 at home, I then lost 3-1 to Bordeaux and after being 2-0 up against Lorient, I ended up losing 2-3!
As you can see, I am scoring plenty of goals and have three capable strikers (Dindane, Maolida, Mantorras (£700k)). However, I am leaking goals, on a spot on average of 3 goals a game in the league! I have signed two new centre backs to bolster the squad. Any suggestions?

After winning the domestic treble with Celtic, and reaching the CL quarters, I went PSV in a new game using 8.0.2.
I qualified in a group containing Werder Bremen(Who I beat 4-2 at home, and drew 1-1 with away), Zurich(2-0 at home and 1-1 away), and Real Madrid(who I drew 3-3 with at the Bernabau, and beat 1-0 at home.).
I have pretty solid home form this season, I'm currently 6 points clear at the top, I made a couple of signing in that of Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink(done well so far, 11 goals in 22 and 4 assists) and a lad from Boca named Neri Cardozo, who has 3 goals and 6 assists in 21 games. But he's been a solid performer all season, usually 8 in the ratings.
Jefferson Farfan has been great when hes playing, notching up 17 in 24, and 2 assists.
The seasons picking up now, I drew AC Milan in the first knockouts, and I'm actually quite confident I can pull something off. I'm trying to buy in a short-term striker in 34 year old Martin Palermo, 12 in 12 for Boca, my mate who is doing a Boca season says Palermo has been solid for him, aswell as Cardozo, so hes being looked into.
However, one problem I have is I let in quite a few goals, only kept about 5 clean sheets all season, but I usually win in the region of 2-1 3-1 kind of thing.

I agree to a degree. Sure the ease and greatness on the PC is good but consoles versions whilst being nowhere near as good are OK. Obviously if you have a choice of the two then your choice is easy.

You already know my Bologna plight, however I would like to point out that I started that game unemployed and Bologna were 15th when I took over. I've just taken the Pescara job, however they're in Serie B now and I fear it might be a struggle to keep them up as they only have about 22 players, and only 2 decent players. We'll see.
In any case, AlbinoLeffe has to be the way to go to make use of the legend that is Cristian Araboni, he's served me well for three generations of non-Serie A Italian management in FM.

I'm looking for badges like the pack Wan posted a while back, but for the American leagues, like Argentina and Brazil, anybody know where to get Badges and Kits for these leagues ? :S.
Also, looking for a few answers. Me and my mate are trying to do a FM game tonight due to me having no coursework to do for tommorow(finished it all last night), but it keeps dropping him out, were using Hamachi. Everything works fine in terms of getting into the game and such, but its just that it wont let us actually play. Any ideas guys ?.

I quite like the leagues like Portugal, Holland, Argentina and such. I dunn owhy its more diverse, and more interesting to see your team do well in the big competitions, because your arent from one of the elite leagues.

I ended up picking Albinoleffe last night. Only played one game, a 1-0 friendly loss away to Saint-Priest - a result which made headlines :no:
I've signed a handful of players including Marco Del Vecchio (Delvecchio), Pablo Paz and Gabriel Schurrer but missed out on Luigi Di Biagio. I had to get a left-back as I basically started without a natural one and am still looking for a second as the other one I went for decided to join a crap club other than us. Similarly, I've missed out on two other players I was after and am in desperate need of a decent goalkeeper and some central midfielders.
I've made a move for Ivan Pellizoli who is transfer listed at £240,000 though if I don't manage to sign him I think I'm going to be in a bit of bother as alternatives such as Tommaso Berni (£120,000) are much worse in comparison.
I'm loving my transfer budget of £250,000 :laugh:...probably won't be when I end up getting relegated. My media prediction at the start of the game is either 11th or 17th - I forget - and the board only want to remain in Serie B over the two-year period of my contract. Fingers crossed :|
