He says he wants to play GT mode so he can try out the Redbull X2010, the fastest car in the game which is why hes ruining the game by earning money quick and finishing all the races. He's 12 btw so he's very immature for his age

You could still pop in every now and then when we've got a group of us on, no? At the moment it seems that we're only playing once a week so it's not every evening like Fifa can be.

my civic is a complete different vehicle after race modifying it. Put a cool #80 on it last night.
I didn't realize that the VW Lupo given as a race price is a race-modified vehicle. I drove it for the first time to gain pts so I could modify my Civic and was amazed how tight it stays to the track. I will look forward racing that.
That Laguna Seca track is a bit tough for beginners, given that beginners mostly lay on the accelerator hard. Those hair pin turns have to be taken at 23-25mph. I must have done 5 restarts on the first two turns before I learned 35-40mph was still too fast.
Finally, I thought I could cheat the money system by going into Nifty's lounge, starting a race by myself and being the winner every time. But it doesn't award you money (credits) for being a sole racer. I almost have to force myself to race every night because that 200% bonus is too good to pass up. I was 170% last night.

I'm driving a Black 78 Ford Mustang, put a few bob into her now so she's whang'n, will pull 120mph if I'm driving with a good breeze on my back.

I just bought a car and acquired a paint chip (as you always do), the name of which is "Sand Beige."
Any advance on sand beige? I wouldn't even get a carpet that colour.
Although it looks it and has the parts to make it so, annoyingly you can't change the racing number - it very much comes 'as is.' Still a nice little drive, though.
Laguna Seca, as a track, doesn't let you build up too much speed, though. The fastest you'll get is the approach to the corkscrew, which if compared with other tracks, is still not that quick.
It's a good track to learn on as has some fast turns that you can take full-throttle but only if - and that is a big if - you get your racing line right, whilst it also tests your in-and-out speeds on the slower turns. Plus, watching Dale repeatedly lose it on the corkscrew is extremely satisfying.
In the process of trying to establish regular times. But most evenings someone might be online. It's only really good if there are at least 4, in my opinion.
