I went into the Alderny prison a couple of days ago with Dwayne's back-up. We flew in on a helicopter and started shooting everyone in sight - guards, prisoners and visitors....and the preacher. I took an RPG with me and shot down a couple of police choppers. The back-ups got killed pretty quickly, but I had a bullet proof vest, so I lasted a few minutes.

I never really paid attention to Liberty City until a few days ago. The detail is amazing, and if you have a decent pair of headphones, the sounds can really immerse you in the game.
Graphically this game is great too, some people complain that they cant see much at night, but my TV seems to be ok with it. In fact I prefer night to day, simply because that strange blur effect that is more noticeable during the day (and on HDTV's), is hidden by the night sky. Rain and thunder effects are also quite outstanding, and the city really has that gritty feel to it under these weather conditions, its the feeling i've longed for in a GTA game.
I now explore the city by foot a lot more, it requires patience, but it worth it in my opinion. What Rockstar have created is a masterpiece, however I feel the sacrifice made is the games longevity, it doesn't have the same lasting appeal as the previous iterations, but explore the city fully, once, and its an incredible feat. I feel its one of those games where you're going to want to play it in a few years once more, just to appreciate what the game is.

My i broke my xbox and was without a console for a few weeks, when i had finally saved up some money i decided to get a ps3 on friday 13th and have just finished the game yesterday, i think it is a brilliant game but it all seemed a bit easy which was dissapointing.
What did everybody do for the finale, i saved it and did both sets, must say the deal story is much better, poor Roman.

I got told Revenge is better. I went to save it so i could do both sides, then i returned to it after i done the mission and to find the save wernt there, so i was stuck with Deal ...

Has Kate ever slept with Niko? She always called me a creep when I tried it on.
In all honesty mate I couldn't tell you. I never bothered with her, I had 'Lawchick' and 'SoboHo' on the go while I was meant to be dating Kate.
I got the impression some of the script was based on Niko having actually slipped her a length at some point but I hadn't.
Ah well. She's dead now :shifty: I can enjoy prostitutes completely guilt free now.
