Only started playing this morning (Play sent my order on December 3 and it hasn't turned up yet!) and although generally good I'm annoyed by the behaviour of the camera when driving around corners (doesn't always follow from behind and the fact that I have to use one key to get into a car and one to pick up an item or use something - they could've doubled that up like they did in previous GTA games.

That aside, and the fat the GPS system is probably preventing me from felling fully immersed due to the fact I'm watching the radar and not the road or scenery, it seems a job well done at the moment.

I heard there was a lot of problems with the PC version e.g. capable systems not being able to hold a smooth framerate, whats yours like?

Mine seems fine. I've left the texture detail on medium which was the auto-detected level but the framrate is static at 60. I might fiddle with it later to see what I can squeeze out.

Using the official thread to get some info.

I was thinking about holding some sort of GTA 1v1 Deathmatch tournament, but that's only a viable option if enough people still play it, and of course, if the GTA lists update when I add new friends, which it hasn't done in the past.

But yeah, throwing it out there to those interested. PS3 btw.

cops and crooks is always a good game, that or Mafia work is the best. I got back in to it recently as well, just got promoted to 7 as well.

I'm only on 1 at the moment, because i've only just started.

I was playing cops and crooks with two idiots earlier aswell. One was an 8 and the other was a 6, and I swear they were both mentally retarded.

I was the boss and they were my two bodyguards, and as soon as the game started they ran off to find the fastest cars and all the guns. Idiots. I on the other hand found myself a Patriot, and quickly got to the getaway point without even seeing any cops :D

Edit : also whats a 'rockstar' ? I got a trophy for killing one, and I have no idea who it was :/

its a viral award, you either killed or killed someone that killed or killed some one that killed some one that killed one of the rockstar staff or....i could go on but i think you get the idea
