I'm so pissed off. My car that I first stole and made my own has vanished and so did the insurance contact on my phone. I find another car but this time I have to pay to make it mine. 6g later I end up getting killed by the police and my car fucked up in the process now I can't steal it from the in pound because you get two stars immediately and the car hardly even moves because it's mangled.

It's a fucking right ballz at the moment anyways and very frustrating, I wouldn't normally get this wound up for a game but the bastarden thing will be epic once it's sorted.

I'll try it again later on, at least I'm getting to the character now, some progress made :/

I'd just wait if I was you. You'll be even angrier if you put time in and then your character is wiped next time you log on.

Edit. . Don't know where the sad face came from but it's fitting.

I managed to create the actual character yesterday but it was only this morning when I actually got it to load and fly into LS and then I turned it off because I had practice with the band. Was only later on there today then when I got to go back to it that I realized that it was still dodgy.

This mightn't be right even for the weekend going by the looks of things.

I got in, beat Lamar in a race then it froze. Rebooted the game and the character had been deleted. :bravo:

Don't think I'll bother again until I hear some reports of success.

Yep, I got caught by the ring. Won the race, got the drugs, bought some clobber and got the tracker for the motor. Just about to join up with the lads and it fails to load and I lose everything.

I was warned but stiIl tried to live the dream.

If someone's character hits the Twilight Zone make sure to jump in here and try and give the next misfortune a heads up.

Some people were saying that you'll get your old character back once the poxy cloud servers are fixed, dunno if there's any truth in that either as R* haven't even addressed that issue in any of their statements to date.

Patched but it still crashed for me after you get in the car with Lamar.

I haven't managed to play 1 single second of online yet but I'll try it again tonight to see what happens. I tried again last night but it wasn't happening.

Managed to create my character (though had to do it all over again when the first one I made disappeared) and joined my mate's crew but that's it.

Seems like it could be a while before it all starts working properly.

I just set up a new account for the sisters boy friend there about 10 minutes ago and it seems to have ran smoothly, right now he's going through the motions of playing the tutorial but early signs suggest somethings have been tweaked. It's the disappearing character which is really the issue that needs fixing.

Pretty much a waste of time until that's sorted.

There I was having a leisurely jog up the mountain when some cunt decides to beat me to death near the summit...

It was a great laugh, some of the highlights being when Phatmann got out the two-seat car and brutally shot that cunt driver so I could get in, and then when I got my revenge on Apps by crushing him between my car and a truck. I've no doubt it will be even better once we get more on. If we get a private crew session going perhaps we could try and do a couple of the wank missions? I'd like to increase my level if only to be able to buy better shit. Sticky bombs would be hugely entertaining...
