I'm interested in that Skullverine...shame it's only out in the PS3! Hopefully my friend buys it - I'll play it with him!

When is it out?

How will the game carry on when your character dies?

I don't know. I only know that the game will carry on. I got the info from an article posted in the PS3 forum.

No one knows when the exact release date is, but I'm pretty sure that it will be released next year.

From my understanding, you will control more than one chracter as you progress through the story. If one dies, their involvement ends, but the story for the other characters continues.

What happens if they all die, I don't know... :erm:

You become some sort of superbrain being or something and take control of other persons in the game and get them to do your work. :erm:

Brilliant mate! I've been waiting for more Heavy Rain information. Will start reading.

EDIT: Just finished reading it and I have to say that was a great interview. I've certainly got a lot of respect for David Cage and his vision in this industry.

I hate getting hyped up for games since most of the time you can only go down but I reckon from what I have seen of Heavy Rain so far, it has the potential to be a ground breaking game of this generation.

Heavy Rain Interview with David Cage

Guillaume de Fondaumiere, co-CEO of Heavy Rain developer Quantic Dream, has told SPOnG that his company's game is not necessarily "conceptually in line" with the PS3's Trophy system.

"We haven’t figured out, as of yet, how the trophy system is going to work. It’s not necessarily a game that is conceptually in line with what trophies should do", Guillaume told SPOnG at the GameHorizon conference.

"Again, it’s not about succeeding or failing. It’s not about doing the right thing or doing the wrong thing. It’s about the journey. The journey is the most important thing. So, to a certain degree, I would say we’re not rewarding the players in a conventional way. The reward is the emotional experience, is how good the story is from the player’s perspective.

"I guess it should be the other way around. It should be gamers giving us trophies (grins) rather than us giving players trophies!"

Don't worry, though. Quantic Dream isn't about to turn the whole trophy system on its head. "But we’ll of course support trophies and we’re trying to find the right way to integrate trophies into the game", Guillaume went on.

For more from Guillaume, check back on SPOnG for the full interview soon.

I'm getting interactive movie/giant quick time event vibes here. Not sure how this one's going to turn out.

There's a rumour that Sony are pushing David Cage to remove some of the adult content from Heavy Rain in order to gain a lower ESRB rating.

is there a estimated release date for this or is it in early production?

are they still making the game 'Alan Wake'?

@ThierryHenry14...you can't deny that PS3 is likely to have a better exclusive game simply because the disk size of a bluray. they can pack more into it...
