This mode is a great idea as it gets the playing more involved with the game rather than just playing it. You get a real feel for how your player is progresing though his career.

I just won the European Cup with Juventus for the first time in my career. Proper chuffed, got top scorer as well. 2 league games left and 3 points behind Inter!

Does anyone know how the league is sorted? Is it Goal Difference or Results Between Teams? With 1 match left the league looks like this:

1st: Inter 66pts GD - +21
2nd: Juventus 66pts GD - +19 (ME)
3rd: Fiorentina 66pts GD - +13

So basically if I can win by 2 more goals than Inter i'll win the league!

Sorry about doing this but i'm excited lol

Half time and i'm 1-0 down against Catania! Just checked the other match results and they've finished. Inter and Fiorentina have both lost so a draw would win me the league. I have 45 mins to turn this around and win the league!!

It wasnt to be. I lost the game 1-0, turned out a draw wouldnt of been good enough anyway because Lazio who were 4th won and won the league so a draw wouldnt of been good enough I needed to win. Now I need to decide whether I should stay at Juventus and try and win the League and Cup or move to a different club? I think I might stay

I did manage to win Player of the Season though which was good and top scorer with 25 goals in the league, 37 in all competitions



EDIT: Decided to stick with Juventus and try and win the double!

Wow! The legend is 20 yo and has already stats around 90! This is basically impossible in PS2 version... :(

In PS2, BAL development is so sllooooooowwwww...

I've noticed that a lot of people in this thread have stuck all their stat strengthening points in speed, so within a couple of years their speed and dribbling speed are both above 90. I didn't decide to go down that road myself, figured that my 6'3'' striker should be stronger than a 5-year-old and strengthened body balance a lot.

I went down a similar route to you Sammu. I'm an average sized AMF, and my main focus is passing. When I began my career my passing stats were abysmal, e.g. short pass accuracy = 59. Which for an AMF is awful, my body balance is now at 75 which is respectful but I aim to focus primarily on passing and dribbling ability. I want to be able to constantly play in the strikers with defence-splitting passes, and I'd love to be able to beat a man with technique and ease. My highest stat at the moment I think is speed which is around 83.

I'm in my 3rd season, and all have been with French side OGC Nice. Last season was no doubt my best with 8 goals and 5 assists, however this year is going down the pisser so far. I've scored 2 and assisted only once and I'm nearing the end of the season soon, this hasn't been helped as I've been injured once and suspended 3 times. Shameful I know.

hehe ... Yuo think you´re smart don´t you? Some another guy said same thing earlier ... but the truth is that my game crashed many times with auto-save and BAL save didn´t work after that anymore so I started to save my playing manually.

That of course gave me that possibility you are saying here :huh:

That´s why I can change my mind concerning transfers.

But if you think that you could do what you say here by reloading, I suggest that you try it and when you have done it post the results here.

I think we have to wait veee...ryyy long time :) It took one day from me play that second season, do you really think that that time is enough?

No, no .... I didnt´t even played every match ´cause I was injured few weeks.

Sorry pal but you´re totally wrong. I recommend that you´ll play the game instead of that you blame another gamers cheaters.

Also, after second season Chelsea wanted me to join (League c), but because I haven´t save my game I couldn´t accept their offer anymore, ( I saved my game after that) and there was remaining only PSV, Barcelona, Real Madrid and so on....

That´s why I choose PSV first because it was League c where I wanted to go but with Chelsea. I changed my mind because we didn´t win League but were second and I want to win League B too.

Hope you understand my reasons. :erm:

Yes, I do save my game but not after each week or match :)
