For the first time i actually semi-agree with you. Fifa's AI is very good at attacking. But it's also good at defending in my opinion, especially if it takes the lead. On legendary defences rarely make glaring errors and you really have to work to break them down. On world class there is the odd error but you still have to work hard. On professional they're shit! The jump in difficulty is pretty large from Professional to World class. I'm talking manual by the way, world class is pretty easy too on assisted.

playing manual on fifa requires concentration but no more than i put into playing pes ,you need concentration just to string passes across your midfeild at first but so does pes if you pass manualy, even on legendary your still afforded enough time to pick passes

but i am taking my own viewpoint i get as much pleasure by winning a game 1-0 than what i do 5-1 ,i find theres just as much reward by keeping a cleen sheet ,as what i do scoring 5 ,simply because i beleive theres an art to defending like dribbling passing shooting

both games set out to simulate football both are playing the same game but acheive very different results simply because of the way AI plays

my advice to you dicky is to watch a REAL football game on tv first mate...your way off thinking pes comes close to that..!!

with fifa you can customize how you play the game you mug, if you want to play it like a spanish game you can or if you want to play it like a prem game you can..!! your not playing it right mate stop coming up with shit, watch a real game of football and see how it plays, dumb ass...

1st fifa's manual passing wasnt to your liking, you were chatting some mess about overhit passes (bound to happen on manual)

Next min your telling us there's no point to manual because if you can break down defenses with assisted you can do it with manual even more and thats the game cracked.

Then you said you believe there is an art to passing, dribbling etc, then you said you think the CPU automated passing of PES requires more concentration than full manual passing (which doesnt seem possible when you learn the difference between automatic and manual, thats like saying automatic gearing on a car requires more concentration than manual gearing lol)

Now your saying you use manual passing on PES after all despite the crap you wrote earlier.

Pro Evo is weak because of it's lack of options in where you hit long balls, crosses, ground passes, lofted through balls etc. If they can come up with a good manual system it would be a massive step in the right direction. The freedom caused by this would in many ways require loads of extra animations to added, another massive step in the right direction. The dribbling aspect is still better than Fifa in manay ways, mainly because it's not so ridiculously easy to tackle players by holding the X button. This is annoyingly easy in Fifa sometimes.

I agree. It is a bit too easy sometimes to tackle in Fifa sometimes. Then you go to PES and it seems much harder because it isnt as easy to tackle in PES.
