The only thing that needs changing is the ability to change the controllers once you've started a game.so many times i've been playing with a mate and they have to go,you can't just take them out of the game and keep playing yourself, you have to start the game again or play both players (it is quite difficult),the only other thing that could make this game any better is to have as many players to choose from as you do champ manager.Once you have your master league team sorted then thats it,you've got the best team, where to then?

Hitman, I think that you and all the other England fans that find watching your own country play in the World Cup (the BIGGEST and BEST sporting event/spectacle on Earth) have been a little spoilt by the fact that England never fails to qualify for an event such as that. Austrailia on the other hand.....swap spots with me for a moment. We are by far and away the best team in Oceania, I would go as far as to say better than any Asian side, yet until only recently, we have not had a direct route. We have always had to playoff with a country fom South America or somehwere else that is football dominated - that is to say that "Soccer" is not the most popular code in Australia (and while I'm thinking of it.....Australia 3 - England 1, in England....ha, ha, ha!!!)

I'm not whinging as such, rather pointing out that if England did fail to qualify (heaven forbid), then I think that you would have a far greater appreciation of watching your country play International Footbal.

I watched the World Cup (almost every game) and the thought of seeing Australia play (possibly only the first stage, as I'm a realist and wouldn't give them any chance of getting any further) is mouthwatering.

I live in hope!!!!

P.S; I actually follow the fortunes of the England National Team...but only because Australia don't get to play the major Tournaments.

Man, you seriously know fuck all about football dont you. You beat us 3-1. So fucking what. Football is football, FREAK results happen all the time. You had to play a team from South America simply because qualifying from the Ocenia groups, is easier than wank**g. Do you deserve to qualify when all you have to do is beat Austrailia?

Get over yourself.

G'day Mate.

clint, my opinions has nothing to do with england qualifying all the time.... it has to do with that i dont find the quality of england internationals as high as the quality of club football games.

Like I said GOON...ER, I'm a realist and I can't see us getting past the first stage if we make the next World Cup. Yes I think we do deserve to qualify if we win the Oceana group. Why not? This would mean someone is represented from all regions...hence WORLD CUP!

As for beating you 3 - 1 in England....You had your best side on the pitch when the game was won...the first half. At Half Time you were down 2 - 0. It may have been a FREAK result...but we beat England in everything (and have done for quite some time now...ha..ha..ha!) so why should football be any different!

Sore Loser!!!!!

Don't take this personally, mate. I don't even know you. it's not personal at all....simply the truth!

Because you win a in a poor area for football in the World, you cannot expect to qualify automatically for The World Cup. You also do not need to get cocky and rude. So what if you beat us at most sports? You country has no history as a Country, your country is in the background of World affairs.

The truth is your a cocky barstard, who is rapped up in his success much like the supporters of Man U. You may have the best Cricket team, but what else are you good at? WE ARE THE OFFICIAL NUMBER 1 TEAM IN THE WORLD. You Aussies are extremely cocky but afterall, a couple of fluke is enough to get your knickers in a twist. OBVIOUSLY.

It's good to see a little honesty every once in a while.....not.

What's wrong with you poms, we win one game of football against you (the first we have ever won in England) and you all crack the shits once one of us Aussies start bragging about it. You all know that it won't last so why don't you just be patient and this will all go away.

As for England being the "Official No. 1 Team"......at what?

Not Football, Not Rugby League, Not Rugby Union, Not Tennis, Certainly not Cricket....Nothing.

You tell me....Please!!!

And for god's sake....when are you all going to learn how to construct a sentence properly and maybe even learn how to spell!!!!

Clint you have the honour of having my last post.

We are the OFFICIAL number one team in the world at Rugby Union.

Obviously, you are an idiot. This is very obvious, infact so obvious it is hitting me in the face.

You are telling me I cannot construct a sentence? Dream on. Your the one spelling with capital letters, after commars, thats inapproiate English.

Yes maybe I am bitter but unfortunately your posting in a mainly English forum, expect it. Deal with it. Live with it.

clint its perfectly clear that england have the best rugby union side, they have been top of the rankings for the past 2 years.... and if we (england) actually had a rugby league side it would help.

as for football, i really couldnt care less about england cos they are generally crap... but for the benifit of this conversation, instead of sitting here bragging about ur mamoth victory over a tired england side... and go and learn how to use proper grammer and capital letters yourself before criticising others... since when is God spelt with a g. and you are only meant to use three "..." 's when u use them, not about 6 like u did. personally i dont care, but since u picked up on our faults, im picking up on urs.

i'm loving all this banter :D

friendlies mean absolutely nothing to the players we've got playing for england so results like the 3-1 defeat don't really matter. if we ever played australia in a world cup i'd say we'd comprehensively beat them - england is clearly a very good national side but we have a problem with not really turning up for the lesser games.

as for you saying we are #1 at nothing... let's see... gooner was absolutely right about rugby union - we've beaten every southern hemisphere side this year AND COMPREHENSIVELY! we won the 6 nations at a canter and we're probably now the favourites for the world cup.

anyway we'd beat you anyday at darts, boxing, snooker and rowing so :p :p :p :p

I have sneeked into a computer room to post. :D

In my opinion we are a good sporting nation, BUT we have a media whom seem to insist we win absolutely everything.

As for Robinho, you are absolutely corred in everyrthing you have said. We are the best at darts, rowing, boxing and snooker. That is without question.

Clint give it up, you (the Aussies) are turning into the Americans who think they rule at everything. It's sad.

This is the most fun I've had talking to poms, ever. You guy's can certainly get fired up. I knew as soon as I posted the one about the spelling and grammer that the "...shit would hit the fan".

Fair enough about the Rugby Union...I'm sorry Rugby (either form) is not really to my liking. Fair enough though...Point taken.

As for the Engalnd side not playing up to thier abilities in "friendlies"...too true. Could not agree more.

As for being like Americans...how dare you compare us to them. When we win at something we THEN proclaim we are the best....the Americans just believe they are ....all the time. Don't you agree with me on this one? At least between the Poms and the Aussies, we know our place and we can appreciate the sometimes surprising results. The Americans think that it is a given that they will win everything.

Football is one thing that they definitely can not lay claim to.

I agree with you talking about americans thinking they are the best - but to be fair they do own a lot of sports. you look at tennis, golf & athletics to name 3 sports and they've pretty much dominated over the last decades

some of the greatest sportsmen and women have come from america but fair enough cos the country is just HUGE! It's about 20 times bigger than australia and they put a shed load of money into their sporting academies over there.

as for usa at football, they are getting better but that's going to happen. as more and more youngsters start playing you're bound to get some world class talent because to be fair USA have some talented sportsmen. look at brad friedel - goalkeeper of the premiership this season ... so it could be the start of good things.

i'm not anally penetrating the united states here - i hate them generally as much as the next man, but they can play their sports!

Darts, Snooker and Rowing!!!

Who cares!

Darts, I wouldn't have a clue about, so you can have that one.

Rowing - have you heard of the Oarsome Foursome? I don't know if we are any good now but these guys won Olympic Gold a few years back...doesn't that count?

Snooker...well again I'm not sure about this either but I do know of a bloke called Eddie Charlton who used to be quite handy with a Cue. But I'll give you this as well because ...who cares.

As for being favourites for the Rugby Union World Cup....well it is being played just down the road from me in a few months so i guess time will tell...but I wouldn't write the host nation off just yet!! It may just be a little premature.

aaah man you're missing out on darts, it's quality!! \o/

your oarsome foursome would get rinsed by pinsent, redgrave and those other 2 anyway so :p

so you only care about the sports you are good at?? well we don't care that you're the best at cricket then. cos it's an awful sport

lemme throw formula 1 into the mix aswell actually  mansell \o/ hill \o/ stirling moss \o/

errrr .... squash :$

Formula 1 is bullshit anyway. the best drivers dobn't neccassarily get the drive...it all comes down to money.

And don't even bother with Squash...we've been the best at that for years...well us and the indians or Pakistanis...whatever.

What was this thread about again?? I've forgotten.
LOL

OK, OK I'll admit it...England has the better Football team...but we still beat you 3-1 at your house. At least let me live on that for a while will ya? LOL

ok yeah you can bask in glory until we play you in a competitive match ... that's if you ever get into a major competition ;)

im happy to call it a day but i think gooner is gona come on tonight with a bit more to say :D

so... pes3 ideas .. i think they MUST include an easy transfer system like the fifa games - but of course have a limit on the number of players each team can have at any one time (min 16, max 24)

i'd wana see a full edit ability aswell. you should be able to create your own boots without having to use a bloody x-port and whatever other software.

more faces, more boots, more stadiums, more everything!
