There are a few good reasons why MGS4 will be a PS3 exclusive.

1. Snake holds a PS3 controller to control the Metal Gear Robot thing.
2. The robot uses a cell processor (PS3 processor).
3. Konami said it at E3 it will be a PS3 exclusive.
4. The game is specifically optimised for the PS3.
5. It uses a dual-layer BluRay disc (50GB).

I believe the Twin Snakes on the Gamecube had a Sony/Playstation reference in it. Not that I would buy MGS4 on the 360 either as I'm not a fan bar the first one on the original PS.

mgs just suits playstation, imo i think it should stay that wat aswell, id rather play mgs1 on the ps1 than play it on the gamecube version.

From the actual gameplay vids I've seen of MGS Online, I'm not a fan. It may just be because those playing appear to be tards. They look at each other for several seconds before shooting, and run around in circles for no reason. Could be a few bugs around too which is causing a few mishaps.

Still, by the time it's officially released, I'm sure it'll be a top game. Let the sneaking commence :smug:

All these people though who are clammering over it going but yes it's a PS3 exclusive, the only reason I'm getting my PS3 blah blah blah. I think that these people do have mental problems if they're going to buy one console just for an exclusive game on it, it's rather borderline pathetic in my eyes. I probably will end up getting a PS3 somewhere down the line, when a whole range of games come out for it, not just for say MGS4. Not saying you're one of these folk Viper but I'm sure you get what I'm saying.

I mean I managed to buy a Wii after initially not warming to them at all, but then it was just one of those things. :ninja:

Was in gamestation today and they had the ingame footage (statue cock holding video with japanese narration) playing in HD resolution on a big 50+ inch lcd screen.

Looked amazing; i'll be brutally honest and say I have never seen a 360 or ps3 on a HD screen before that day, and it makes me want one so bad now.
