Out 13th of August.

Would expect it on both Sony and Microsoft consoles, doubt it will make an appearance on PC though.

And Morata has been revealed as another cover "star".

Might as well make this the "official" demo discussion thread. I've changed the title, will sticky the thread closer to the date.

In Bhatti's last interview he said PC would have an "earlier demo", so if it doesn't come before the consoles one it should at least come at the same time.

And why do you call Morata a "star"? He was one of the biggest revelations last season, specially in UCL, and as the european competiton take major importance in PES it is normal for them to promote a star of that tournament.

So in the demo, there's gonna be:

1 German, 2 Italian, 2 Brazilian and 2 international teams

Who are we thinking? Place your bets now!

German team has to be Bayern. One of the Italian teams will be Juve, perhaps Roma or Inter as the second one? Brazilian.... erm.... I'm gonna say Santos and Sao Paolo, international will be Spain and perhaps Netherlands. Surprised there's no Barca or Madrid, the demos usually have one or both of them!

Bayern, Juventus, Napoli, Sao Paulo, Santos, Germany, Brazil.

Barcelona and Madrid are EA partners, Madrid definitely are not so sure of Barca, so neither will be in demos again anytime soon. Germany and Brazil have been shown in preview footage before so they'll be the international teams.

I swear a trailer was meant to be released yesterday, typical Konami.

Well i think it will be:
Bayern, Juventus, Roma, Corinthians, Flamengo (because of this http://winningelevenblog.com/blog/corinthians-and-flamengo-to-feature-exclusively-in-pes-2016/), Germany and Brazil. - Like the E3 Demo.

I've been watching the gameplay videos and eventhough I never give myself a final judgement until I play the demo, it looks pretty damm good. I saw a youtube video from a Spanish Guy that has been playing FIFA the psat 3 years basically and he said the game is not better than fifa, not equal like FIFA and not that fluid as FIFA, but by far the best PES since PES 6 and that is a great alternative for football lovers. That if you actually get used to it, it might take a lot of your time enjoying a new revolutionary game. Hope this is true..

The goalkeepers are again shocking, this is a deal breaker for me. I can't tell you how many times ive conceded and lost games through the shoddy keepers parrying the ball to oncoming strikers on pes 2015.
I believe the actual gameplay of pes 2015 was hands down better than both fifa 14 and fifa 15. The constant fouls that are being called and the keepers just ruin the game every time i play it. I think no i'll give it another go but i end up getting to angry with pes 2015.
Then watching one of the games being played at gamescom, it was juve vs bayern i think. Out of the 4 goals scored buffon parried two balls straight to the attackers. Neur was not much better either. I'm waiting for the excuses to come ala "played on easy difficulty" "early code" ect ect. In honesty ive played a lot of fifa 15 lately and i don't think it's as bad as some make it out to be. Fifa 16 looks very very good too , what with the changes being made to it this year. I find it hard to take that konami mostly got back on track with last years game only to become lazy and not fix the keepers.
Well for what it's worth that's my 2 cents over (rant too).

I bought fifa 15 only a few weeks ago for £15. It was only because my mate won't play pes as he can't get to grips with it. They must have patched the keepers because they were solid on fifa 15. The thing is, when you can i guess depend on the keepers to actually get something on the ball , then it makes the game far more enjoyable. Pes keepers you can't depend on them, you always wonder whether there going to screw you over whenever a ball is going toward them. I am cheesed off that there just the same on pes 16 that's all.
The last game on pes 15, a cross came in and the keeper actually palmed the ball into his own net. He was not even getting challenged either.

Played the gc demo - My first impression

I played five matches at the gamescom. Here is what I think of it:

- The graphics were nice, the player really look great

- the animations were better than in PES15, still worse than in PES14. You could see the foot slide over the ground to often.

- there seemed to be absolutely nothing new in terms of gameplay, same controlles as last year

- the players were giving the ball away much to easy and didn`t try to block the other player. A good way to steal the ball was to just bump into the othere player.

- good ai with still a few misstakes where the player wouldn`t pick uo the ball while being close to it.

To be honest I din`t think it was good, but thats only my first impression and I can`t wait for the demo and hope it will get better.

Hi there, thanks for your information

Its sad to know that nothing new in term of gameplay in upcoming PES 2016, as gameplay is core element for PES series, but same gameplay is not too bad, at least its not worse.

I dont care too much about graphics and animation, because its just side product and not that significant when you play and score goals.

My major concern is that if the passing is well connected and the ball is acurately delivered to my teammate, as you mentioned ball is given away easily, that probably means passing in PES 16 is not spot on, i dont know, in PES 2015 on SuperStar LV, passing around sometimes is dodgy and inconsistent and can be intercepted way too easy by top teams like R madrid or Baca, its so upsetting. I hope in PES 2016 passing can be better.

Since I ve played PES 2015 for more than 5 months, playing it gets boring already, actually I am a PS3 user and dont have many good games to play, so want to buy a new PS4 and PES 2016 to play more
decent games, but so far apart from bloodborne, there are not many great games for PS4 console, PES 2016 will be my main PS4 game to play for rest of the year, so even PES 2016 perhaps is not good, but still want to buy it and play sth new, otherwise its so boring in my spare time.

All the best to PES 2016, not asking for too much from the game, just getting better will be good enough for me.
