How to setup your headset

Go to Settings on the Home Menu and Select Accessory Settings

Choose Register Bluetooth Device

On the next screen select Register Headset

Your Bluetooth Headset will only be found if its set to Discoverable Mode.
To do this Hold down the Answer/End button for 5-10 seconds untill the blue light turns solid.
If its flashing it will not be found it has to be solid blue.

Select Start Scanning

Your PS3 will scan and locate your Bluetooth device
Select it from the list that appears

You will be asked for a Pass Key
Enter 0000

Go back to Accessory Settings on the Home Menu
Select Audio Device Settings and check to see if your Headset is selected as your chosen device if not change it. You may also set the microphone volume level and test the device from this section.

You should have now paired your Headset with your PS3

Might be useful for some.

Play everybody three times, three points for a win, one for a draw and none for a loss as standard. Then if one player gets a match abandoned by having five players sent off, then they get the standard 3-0 loss and -5 points. Sound fair Kev?

Yeah... I'll play all proper and stuff if it counts for something :ninja:

I just rented Heavenly Sword to play over the weekend. I've heard it's a good game to rent because it's not the longest of games.

I hope to complete it this weekend.

I was going to rent FIFA but I just can't bring myself to playing the actually game.

Downloaded that demo last week (Heavenly Sword), it was nice but it gets repetitive (I've played the full game as well for a bit).

Well I'm sure it'll keep me entertained for the coming weekend and will surely look gorgeous on 40"s of HD.

I think I'll only play FIFA if a friend has it and brings it round or I go round his.

Official: 40GB PS3 and UK Price Cut

UK, October 5, 2007 - After weeks of speculation Sony has officially unveiled the lower-spec 40GB PlayStation 3 and has announced that it's heading to the UK on October 10 at the cut-down cost of 299 GBP. What's more, Sony is also slashing the cost of the 60GB PS3 down to 349 GBP.

The lower capacity hard drive aside, the entry level 40GB PS3 only has two USB ports (compared to the usual four), the multi-memory card port has been removed and the machine will not be backwards compatible with PlayStation 2 titles, because Sony reckons there has been "reduced emphasis placed on this feature amongst later purchasers of PS3".

In addition to the new model, Sony is replacing the existing Starter Pack with a new Value Pack, priced 349 GBP, for which you get a 60GB PS3, a SIXAXIS controller and two first-party titles - although exactly what games will be on offer has yet to be confirmed.

"As we approach our very first PlayStation Christmas, it is satisfying to be able to offer UK consumers the choice of two PlayStation 3 packages both now representing remarkable value," commented Ray Maguire, managing director of SCEUK, "We have a brand new 40GB machine that represents an excellent entry point into the world of high definition games and movies, and we have the fully featured 60GB machine being offered with two next generation gaming experiences at a highly competitive price."

Meanwhile, president of SCEE David Reeves added: "The introduction of the new PS3 has been the result of extensive research into the entertainment needs and preferences of the next generation of PS3 owners. It has allowed us to deliver an extremely advanced, yet highly affordable High Definition entertainment system, configured to the needs of the next generation of European PS3 owners. PS3 has always been the device of choice for the discerning gamer and entertainment seeker, and the new PS3 is more than ever the perfect High Definition entertainment system."

According to the November 2007 issue # 76 of the Official Xbox Magazine Sony has secured the next Grand Theft Auto, which would be number 7 in the series, to be a true exclusive to the Playstation 3.

"Rockstar really wanted to make a game that you can truly only do on PS3, harnessing the power of the Cell and Blu-ray disc and this deal lets them do just that" as said by Sony's Michael Shorrock in a statement to the press. " We handed Rockstar a signed blank check because we were short sighted enough to let Grand Theft Auto's exclusivity get away from us. Oops!"

Looks like the Xbox fans may be out of luck when it come to the next installment of Grand Theft Auto. If they do release a 360 version it sounds like it would have to be on multiple dvd discs if the game truly takes advantage of Blu-ray.

One thing is for sure. This will be interesting to watch play out. Stay tuned!

If true...then wow. Don't know why it'd be announced in a 360 mag rather a PS3 one though. Or from Rockstar

Won't believe until there's more sources.

Grand Theft Auto 7? we'll be on PS4s by then.

Anyway it's apparently a load of rubbish, and some mug read it wrong. The article in the mag was about that LA Noire game. :\

Although even if it does go exclusive, I wont be too pissed off considering I can now pick up a PS3 for £300. :smug:

Well I just completed Heavenly Sword, just in time as I need to take it back today. It's not bad, although too short for a game to be worth 60€. I can see a sequel which if they were to add more puzzles and weapons and a bit more strategy while fighting it would be a half decent game. Oh and make it longer.
