I'm still enjoying my new improved PES experience thanks to this option file.

Another thing I've noticed is that it's a lot harder now to barge defenders out the way. I've been playing the Master League for a while now and have had the Croatian player Petric for a few seasons.

Before the option file, I could hold up the ball turn and barge past most defenders then unleash his hammer of a left foot, it almost felt like cheating and rather scripted/robotic.

Now, since using the option file, this tactic just doesn't work, most times Petric is the one getting barged around by defenders, now I have to find a different way of playing with him and it's far more realistic.

One thing I have noticed is that quick attacking players now have a harder time running away from defenders, and in most cases get caught. However I think this is more realistic as very few attackers can run away from a decent defender whilst dribbling the ball.

Cheers, I can't beleive Konami could make the defenders play so much more realistically, by simply upping their aggression and leave them as they have been for years. Even on Top Player, its too easy to go past defenders without them trying to tackle you. Hopefully people will find this more realistic, but it depends on which teams you are using.

Which teams have you been using?

He Chimps do you plan to update your file after january transfer window is closed?

Hopefully and also adding some new teams, depending on what time I have spare.

Man your OF is like a drug.You have to promise that you have update your file with the new transfers!Now one request:you can take international kits from latest simo OF becouse he have best int. kits,also to keep up to date boots,haircuts...and for the end of this post:BEST GAMEPLAY FILE DEFINATELY!!!if you could do the things that I writed above I think that this could be the greatest OF ever!!!!

My friends and I play pes 2009 (us version) differently from others,we are after an OF thats much like the one u created from the comments i saw,and we were wondering if we sort the players cause thats wat we do,if there will be any differences,we create our own teams through sorting them!

My question is When I download and then install your option file, do I also have to download and install the Von Option file as well?

This option file includes all of Von's kits up to version 1.04 although if you can't be bothered to copy 200+ files just copy the Edit data file because thats the only one you need for gameplay tweaks.

I had my PES2009 updated with Von's 1.06 kits and teams and edit data, so I just copied the edit data from this one over that, seems to work fine.

can u make me a list with each stat and in fron of them explaining what he did PLIZ.....i dont wanna buy the EU cause i got the us already...thank u!!!

It will depend on how much time I have spare when the transfer window closes as I now have a lot less time on my hands due to work, that I did before christmas.

Updating transfers is likely to happen, as is adding teams, but I wouldn't think I would be updating boots and haircuts, as I don't think it adds that much to the game.

There is quite a detailed explantion on the first post of this thread.

If you thinking about editing all the players in the same way I have, I would honestly, just buy a european version of them game and use this, as it takes a long time to do.

Hi, I've just downloaded Chimps 1.04 option file but im currently using VONS 1.06. Which folder do I copy.... BLES00338EEDIT01 ... or ... BLES00338EOPTION01. I've already got all of the kits and faces. Also, what is the difference between the edit data and the option file?

having read mostly positive comments about this option file one question particularly comes to mind. When using this file does it change the gameply much that u can compare it to past better pro evos? pes 2,3 4, 5, 6?

does it make it more like previous pes's or is the experience completely unique or indeed does it not change pes 09 much?

Marty, my experience with this file is unique!If you want to play real football like on tv you have to use this OF.the only thing that miss in this file is the national callups,up to date formations for teams.but for the gameplay is best no one file can compare to him.when you play against smaller team like stoke for example they can beat you if you don`t your chances and id your concetration is gone in just one action,like in real football.copy only the edit data to test it,but as soon as possible you will copy all file to play,it`s much different with other files.CHIPMS HEAR US,KEEP YOUR WORK BECOUSE YOU HAVE YOUR SUPPORTERS!!!sorry for my bad english

It makes Pes more real, every player in the game has been edited to make the game better, can he do much more?

It makes Pes more real, every player in the game has been edited to make the game better, can he do much more?

Thanks, I will probably update some teams to make them more realistic, I have edited Chelsea to improve them and slowed Roma down a bit.

Does anyone think any other teams are too good or poor or any seem too fast.

A big pain, I feel is that some stadiums play slower. The Allianz arena plays slower than the San Siro, which plays fast.

I think the stadium that gives the most realistic game speed is the Amsterdam arena.

Does anyone know if you can unlock the ability to change the stadium for all teams as some, like feyenoord are locked and playing against them is their given stadium is rubbish, with the players slow and un-responsive

Just want to add my support for this option file. Been playing with it during the weekend and without a doubt it has improved the gameplay a lot.
I highly reccomemned that everybody who reads this thread downloads the option file and give it a try.
