you did great work - I use your optionfile and it makes the game even better!
The Problem with your file is that its not up to date:
Von just brought another update and yours is behind. I know a lot of work, but will there be more german teams in the future and are you still working on transfers!
More importand for me would be the german teams ... because i am from there!

Dude your Optionfile is freakin awesome! I never thought that an optionfile could possibly have such an influence on the whole gameplay. Praise the Chimps, man. :monkey:
But I have one request. Is it possible, to add Borussia Dortmund 09 to your Optionfile? I'm not sure if you know them. German Team? That would be really awesome.
And perhaps TSG Hoffenheim 1899 would be a good idea as well, cuz they're the best german team at the moment.

After playing a couple of games with this option file, my views are mostly positive. The game is definitely more playable, it is no longer the case that turning 90 degress a few times to get it passed easily a few defenders.
One thing though, based on my 2 games. I played Hull City vs Barcelona and won the game with Hull 3-2. Does anybody think the option file makes it more difficult for the COM to score as the defences are more tougher? Or indeed being able to beat Barcelona with Hull is sort of unrealistic. Im optimistic with this file, bear in mind its just my second game, and well i sort of expected Barcelona with their quality to beat me at least.

VON released versions after my version of his. If I was to edit any other file, I would need to start again and it would take months.
I would need help to add further teams as I have no idea about making kits and faces. I would be happy to work with someone on this

Cheers, hopefully I can work something out for adding more teams. I am sure if I can get the kits sorted somehow, creating the players for a few teams will be nothing compared to the editing I did originally with all the players in the game
You need to play more games before deciding on it.
There has been times when I thought the game felt to easy and then the next game I have been hammered. Try playing some of the better national teams or other big clubs on Top Player.
I started a master league with Fiorentina and put good teams in my division and playing the game on Top Player, I can tell you its not easy stopping good teams scoring against you.

It looks like it will be a transfer update file only.
The last update, left players that had been edited alone. I hope this just updates which team they play for and doesn't effect any stats.

I decided to try your OF with the nice comments on it.
I played a league with Barcelone on top player (10min games) with von's OF which I won without even a draw... So I wanted to try your OF. After 5 games, I won over seville 6-1, deportivo 0-4, villareal 1-6, last game malaga 7-0. I played 1st season cup final vs valencia with your OF and won 7-0.
Althought I see there is improvement in teamplay from my opponent, I'm very pleased with the fact that my defenders aren't running like lost chickens anymore. A little less about the fact that the IA team is getting red cards quite easily. I had maybe good circumstances during the matches.
I'm going to test some other teams, I started with Barcelone because it's the team I know the best (to be able to compare with how I played before your file) but even if I can see some improvement on the gameplay, it didn't really make it more difficult (as it seems). But I scored goals like I didn't before or on rebunds more ofter too. So it makes it enjoyable.
I know your file is making weaker team more playable, that's what I'm going to try testing now, I know Barcelone is stronger, and stays stronger so I could not really feel the improvement of your file yet. Except that teams seems to play more passing, and are moving better regarding to the ball.
I'd suggest something for your file. I saw you didn't change keeper's stats and read why you didn't but that was what I did of my pes. And I saw some lucky saves, better reaction and it felt very good.
I was a goalkeeper, and I can tell you many keepers have a strong shot, very good hand passing or foot passing. Most have a high mentality. I think they deserve better stats than those which pes is giving...
It's the same argument as yours... why a keeper has to have 50 precision passing? 60 power? most keepers have a stronger shot than "normal" players and they can be very useful for a counter. Also, they generally are quite fast on acceleration on short distances and have good physic.
I personaly think it made my game more enjoyable to update the keepers. ( I see the difference now with you OF with basic keeper's stats).
Anyway thx for the work, I'll try with a weaker team and maybe check the stats of standard de liege team, as I know the team quite well maybe I can give you my opinion

After trying your option file for the last few weeks, i must say that it does improve the gameplay. No longer in my masterleague can i rely on my purchased players to score and basaically run the game. As the defenses are more harder to break down, it makes teamwork more of a necessity rather than having a fast player to do the job.

I agree that the option file is great and really helps improve the gameplay. As to the strips not being up to date or not very good, this is an easy fix. I loaded the option file and then noticed that west ham still had the square on the front of the kit and not the new sponsor.
You just need to find a option file that has west ham with the new kit and then copy this in to this option file. It then overwrites the old one and you have updated kits.

I haven’t played with Barcelona much, but did improve there players as they were too easy to play against and their flair players (apart from Messi) seemed almost dull to control.
I am surprised at the size of them score lines though on Top Player. If you want more of a challenge you could pick a team to use and then reduce the players short passing speed, defence and attack stats.

Thanks, I think the master league is much more realistic with these changes. Its harder to score and good forwards will punish you for your mistakes, much more than in the normal game, you find that good players really do make a difference when playing against you. I think its best played without one of the big teams on top player and setting a second and first division that you play in, with big teams.
Do you find that games played during the day in certain stadiums seem slower?
I thought that would work. I am thinking of releasing an updated version with the new kits and faces that have been made by Muff, his 1.04 version. I am sure that if I just download his latest file and then compare the folders by date modified, I can see which files need copied over to mine.
I am also thinking of downloading a PC OF with the bundesliga in and then opening this up on a laptop and copying the data on each player and then editing them and then getting the strips of a PS3 OF with them in.
I used to change these quite a bit in older option files for previous versions. It’s difficult to say exactly how they effect the game. Obviously, have higher values makes the team better, I found that using teams with increased defence and attack made it easier, but in no apparent way, teams just found it harder to score against you and you found it easier to score against them

yeah this comes from another website doesn't it that lists the PES attributes? I'm gonna try tweaking it for the flair teams like barce and man u who are both far too easy to beat. They rarely dominate possession against me and I never feel like I am under siege when playing them.

Hey Chimpman! Maybe also changing the responsiveness by 10-15 can also imporve the game, because it states in the stats section that responisveness also contributes to movement onto lose balls, that is one thing that gets on my nerves!
