I've got it on PC.

Dragons are quite hard, definately beatable though, but they can kill you quite easily.

PS3 here bud.

Dragons are randomly generated and so is their difficulty some can be easy, some can be very hard.

Giants are tougher to kill tbh.

5 minutes later I see some weird ice things flying around, turns out they are wisps and I follow them to a women who I think is an NPC, all of a sudden they're freezing me in place and i'm getting raped, yup, not going near them again!!

They sound like Ice Wraith's. If you have an enchanted weapon (even a frost one ironically) it deals with them pretty easily. Well, does for me anyway. I'm not far off completing the two handed weapon tree (just the blade sections) and have levelled up mainly in strength, so can hit thing pretty bloody hard!

I'm getting a bit jealous of all the dragon action so far though. I've got quite a number of words, but haven't seen a dragon to kill to unlock their power for some time. I don't fast travel and have given up on the horses, so it's not that. Have been spending quite some time up the top left of the map though (near Solitude), so maybe that's why..?

Edit: Nearly forgot... my dog companion is no more  He got killed last night during a ambush by bandits. I think it was the twat with the flaming sword that saw him off. I was busy with 3 others at the time so didn't really see what was happening to Meeko. On a bright side, it's nice and quiet again. Was getting sick of his bloody barking all the time.

Nah, they were the Wisp Mothers three wisps. They only take two or three hits and they're dead but I didn't even think they were hostile in my first encounter!!

Quick question to my fellow Skyrimmers (although that sounds vaguely sexual :erm:)...

I've seen a headless ghost on a horse a couple of times now. Never been able to catch up to the bugger though as, as soon as you get attacked by some random bandit/creature, it slows you down too much and the ghost rides his spectral ass of into the distance...

Anyone else seen this?

Spent about 10 minutes following him. Got attacked by 2 mages the first time (frost attacks which slowed me too much, and the second time by two bears and a wolf, by the time I'd seen them off he vanished again.

If I do get to a quest, it better be bloody worth it!

He leads you to

a graveyard with his burial mound some skeleton eneemies and a chest full of enchanted items apparently....

It's not that you've been spending too much time near Solitude Fick, i've had three dragon attacks along that coast. One was a bloody hard bugger that just would not die. I had to resort to my bow and arrow, something that I really don't like doing. I had to because every time I went near it, it fucking one hit KO'd me :realmad: Tossing me around in it's mouth like a right wanker.

Anyway, I only just realised, with my quests, that I wasn't hearing anything of dragons or anything and I was bit convused. So I go into my quests part, and i've only been doing the Civil War quests instead. Didn't even realise. It's two games in one. Incredible.

At last! Got my first dragon in ages! A weak blood dragon, but a dragon all the same. Dragon tooth crater, not far west of Dragon Bridge village.

Ir you want to look at it that way there's about 8 games in one as you have storylines for The Companions (about 6+ quests) and all the otehr guilds you can join.

My head's starting to hurt trying to wrap my head around everything and decide what to go. I have 7 quests open at the moment and 12+misc quests and in a two hour session last night all I managed to do was retrun to the starting town and rid it on bandits who had made it their home, and then retrieve Nettlebane from a pack of witches and a Hagraven at Orphans rock.

Haha I did that quest. It's not even worth it as the tree doesn't really improve that much ;)

Everytime I do a quest I get sidetracked by another, it's mental.

I also found a random 'Treasure Map III' with a picture of a weird rock on it. Very interesting.

Currently I have around seven main quests and over 20 misc ones. Like Dale says, it's so easy to get distracted and get swayed off course.

I also found a random 'Treasure Map III' with a picture of a weird rock on it. Very interesting.

I've got 3 or 4 of these... not sure what to do with them yet, so have put them in my house for later review.

From Miami apparently

OH I forgot to mention, has anyone saw the aurora at night yet? My jaw literally dropped, it was possibly the most beautiful thing i've seen in a game since my Skyrim character's beard. Absolutely brilliant Jeff.

Damn. Just sacked Whiterun, victoriously. problem is that I left the key for my house in the house and now I cannot get back in! Nearly 15,000 gold in there + tons of loot

Let this serve as a lesson to you all. Keep your house keys on you.

What do you mean you "sacked" it? I love that town!!

Oh and thanks for the heads up, I didn't even know about keys, so I probably would've dumped it ina chest somewhere at some point.

Okay, I'm back in Breezehome. Must have just been until things settled down again. Looks like the keys thing might not be as important as I feared, but just in case I will be carrying it in future.

I will say no more about Whiterun. I am following a certain plot line at the mo...
