Got around 12, but they stick in your inventory and mine are not all in the same slot as it were. Not a big collector of things so probably won't bother. Same with the crimson nirnroot.

Didn't join the Thieves Guild or the Dark Brotherhood, because I'm a good, law-abiding citizen :folarm:

Anyone else got married yet? I got married to Ysolda :jim:

I married the huntress from the companions. Seemed like the only decent thing to do, seeing as how she bosses me around even though I am their 'leader' :erm:

The whole marriage thing is a bit pointless though.

Not if they are based in a particular faction, like the Companions, for example.

They do open their own store (not one you can actually visit though), so you do glean some profits.

I hear the best bet is to marry a shop owner. Not only does the shop become a safe house, but you can trade any items and they have more gold.

Not sure if you can take the stock without it being considered stealing though.

Fair to say this is an unbelievable game, loving every second.

Annoying when you have to cure yourself from Vampirism though :D

Everything else, man. I doubt you've got 100% so do all side quests, collect all the trophis etc. The main quest is tiny really, it's just the beginning.

Almost forgot, I was halfway up a mountain the other day and I found this woman who says she's the best archer in the world or something, and she offers to give you some training with her wooden targets in her garden. So you go to the targets, and each one you hit, raises your archery skill by 1! Handy way to increase your skill if you need to, my archery is now on 100 thanks to her :D

No idea where it was though, so you'll have to stumble upon it just like I did ;) I do know that it was halfway up along the path to one of those little dragon priest camps, though. If that helps.

That would of been quite useful, the last few levels were a slog.

Got most skills 50+, 10 or so 80+ and Archery, One Handed and Destruction 100 (With help of training).

Yeh, that's what I'm going to, although I'm already leader of the Companions, Archmage of the College of Winterhold and a thane of Solitude, Markarth, Morthal, Whiterun, Windhelm, Winterhold and Riften. Not to mention having helped the Stormcloaks re-take Skyrim :smug:

Still plenty to do, but I always find these kind of games lose a bit of their addictiveness once the main story is finished. A couple of observations after finishing it:

Still pissed I had to kill Parthunaax as I just found out that, had I waited until after I killed Alduin, he would have left anyway, of his own accord and the Greybeards wouldn't be pissed with me.

Probably should've left the Civil War tasks until after I'd story-line

Bought this last week.

As a man who never plays and fantasy RPGs, it's very confusing. I've hardly bothered with any magic so far, or spells, potions and anything like that. Am certainly enjoying the exploration part of it, like Fallout it's very easy to get sidetracked!

I've started playing this gradually here and there over the last week and I'm now getting into it a bit more. In the game I have just slain a dragon for the first time - I'm sure there will be more - after several woeful attempts. The dragon was low on health so I thought I could take him out with a few stabs from a sword but he gave me a face full of fire. I ended up taking him down using a longbow from the top of the tower, creeping down the stairs any time he looks like he's going to swoop on me.

I also encountered a giant while I was exploring. I had decided to go up to him for a chat but was greeted with a swing of his club or whatever his weapon is; he didn't give me enough time to check it out thoroughly.

When searching for the dragonstone I made the rookie error of not realising there was a button on the floor to activate the wall of spikes and took it right in the face on low health. Those huge spiders are terrifying by the way.

Ahhhhhhhh yes, those walls of spikes are a pain, especially when you're with a follower who decides to walk straight over the trap. Huge spiders are indeed quite scary.

I think I've clocked around 35-40hrs so far on this game. Still so much to do.

I need to get back to this. Level 49 with half the daedra quests done and many other guild quests to do but around 200 locations found. I've only done about 20% of the main story as well.

Legend of Grimrock out tomrorow though and Diablo 3 in May plus I'll start Mass Effect 3 in June or July so it could be a long time.

When playing yesterday I learnt that taking a swipe at a mammoth isn't the cleverest thing to do. Dead with a single headbutt or whatever it was he did.

I decided to go up to Solitude to do the "Join the Imperial Legion" quest rather than meeting the Greybeards as I fancied exploring the Skyrim world a bit more. Upon walking into Solitude I come across a guy who is about to be executed. I tried taking on the guards and got killed but is this the wisest option? What are the consequences of me killing these guys rather than leaving them to do their job?
