Yeah, I assume however PES 2009 (in a year or so) on the PS3 will be a huge leap from the game being released in a couple of months. It appears to be a similar routine for the 360, with a decent leap from the half-version released when the 360 first came out. It's just marketing really, I remember someone from the Konami team answering questions during an interview several weeks ago and he stated money is always an issue at Konami. Which is the main reason that there's a lack of licenses etc.

I may sound a little picky here, but it looks exactly like PES6 but with better graphics, the animations and celebrations are the same! Like when Sobis scored the first goal, thats the exact same celebration thats on PES6. When Coupet tried doing that 360 spin on the ball which ended up an own goal and that player getting tackled from behind near the end, it was the same "mechanical" movements that were on the PS2 versions. I know its a bit fussy but I was expecting better animations and so on.
i was expecting a bundle of animations,i mean one hell of a massive hatfull.and i cant see more than 8directions of motion like was stated.
front page is talking bout fifa looking good this year,but even if pes is a flop i fifas just not playable no matter how it looks to me anyways.
n no why would ps3 version be pap you tools.it will be exactly the same minum mebbe soundtrack options and possibly the usb cam?

As you can see in them there seems to be a few more national teams licensed (I can see Senegal, Croatia, Scotland and what to me looks like Ghana) and also that Newcastle will definatly be licensed (probably due to the deal with Michael Owen. Hope you enjoy.

I think putting an animation in for the nutmeg could be a mistake. I remember euro 2004 by fifa i think had a nutmeg in,same animation over and over and always trying it on the last man with no variation. I get nutmegs all the time in PES6 by pure luck but they still look good. Will be interesting to see if it works anyways.

cheers, my grammars lazy on forums. good to see someone agrees,FIFA plays well for 2-3 games then i can happily never play it again as boredom usually settles in and its not a game i then feel like picking back up.

I know that it's only the demo version but, the crowd sound exactly the same as in PES6. Very disappointing.
